This is such a great video, but I suggest YoungPorter85 to change the description. A speech like this do not deserve to be called shit (even if it is good shit)

I dont care who you are, nobody can be productive without some sort of sleep. I'm not saying that you need 10 hours a night, most people can survive on just a few. But 1-2 days without it and you're just a zombie.
Other than that this video gives me goosebumps everytime. Whenever I feel lazy I just throw this on and get back to work!
Damn people! He's talking about being successful in life at whatever your trying to accomplish. Does n't mean it has to be money... its whatever your goals are.
@Sk1nnyF4t Rocking the sticker.. that's a bit too much like rocking a piece of spinach stuck between your teeth or a piece of toilet paper stuck to your shoe. When will that silly fad go out of style?
This shit here man, this shit here man is the shit Got DAMN NO SLEEP BABY. REAL TALK I HAVE DONE THE NO SLEEPING FOR THREE DAYS BECAUSE OF MY DRIVE. MY MOTHER TOLD ME HOWEVER IF DID GO TO SLEEP AT SOME POINT I WOULD DIE...LOL. GOT TO KEEP WORKING IF YOU AINT YOU DEAD SON...DEAD REAL TALK
I love the meaning of this video,but let's be honest here if you don't sleep you are going to die. And i know he doesn't follow the not eating part because he's a lil on the chunky side.
I believe that passion is vital if you want to accomplish anything of value, but I think it's sad that he is defining success in terms of money. Greatest example of someone who was a monumental success and never made a dime in his lifetime: Vincent Van Gogh. We need to evolve beyond the paradigm of money-based success. Money is an illusion that only keeps us separate from one another. Read this, it will change your life: hackcanada(dot)com/canadian/freedom/mary_croft(dot)pdf
thankyou sean walker, from watching this video i've graduated with a first class degree at university and i'm inspired to become a doctor now, all because of this video... pure motivation, god bless
Whats so real about people like 50 cent and Beyonce'... those people are some of the luckiest people in the world... there is plenty of talent out there that goes unnoticed because there is already a beyonce and 50 cent out there... Why doesnt he talk about the average successful man who is happy with his average life because he works his ass off to support his family...
@TheMikeyyyy lucky? these people put in the exact work this guy is talking about to get where they are, they're perfect examples. no luck involved. dont give excuses like "luck" to cover your own ass!
@TheHitez sorry you missed the point entirely. I just find it cheesy to talk to kids about making it to the big time and ONLY talking about the luckiest of the hard workers. Your fooling yourself if you dont think there are millions of others that work just as hard as the 50 cents and Beyonce's and dont make it anywhere. Its just cheesy to me to use people like this for inspiration.
@TheHitez I guess it depends who your talking to.. personally my dad inspires me to do my best and hees an average guy. Also some celebrities inspire me too. Its the mix of all these types of success stories that give me a grip on reality and what hard work means. I guess some people are so lost they may need false hope by talking about the highest paid celebrities but to me, thats sad. After watching this video i just found it sad that he was baiting these kids with grandeur instead of reality.
@TheMikeyyyy i think the problem you have with the 50 analogy is the perspective.
you're an average guy, and can only be inspired by average guys in the process.. and have some kinda automatic hate trigger for people who've already made it.
don't be so down man, you've trapped yourself behind your own excuse and you've even missed the point of this video: to inspire. he's doing this video for the reason you listed; we have no drive.
@TheHitez Your logic is flawed i dont know how to respond to this... "you're an average guy, and can only be inspired by average guys in the process.. " <-- Doesnt make sense.. Also idk where you hear hate in me, you seem to be geting a little too defensive... and lastly you dont know me so this leads me to think your just trolling now...
@TheHitez Your not making sense sir.. "you're an average guy, and can only be inspired by average guys in the process.. " <--this=leap of logic. Secondly, im not angry. And lastly, you dont know me... at all... so i have nothing to say to stufff like this.. "don't be so down man, you've trapped yourself behind your own excuse and you've even missed the point of this video: to inspire." I guess this was your effort to try to strike a nerve with me which leads me to think your getting upset, cya!
@TheHitez but hey, If this inspires you god bless it... I just think that reflects the warped mindset of American kids these days. Other countries are beating us (especially in education) because we dont have drive. Once again i just find this video sad.
@TheMikeyyyy I have my own quote i tell myself I made a few nights ago actually
"Nobody is special, take advantage."
thats realistic. don't tell kids oh you're so special and have them flop only to go down deeper than they would.
tell them there is no difference between them and the CEO on the top floor making bank.. the only difference is the dedication. he spent more time investing himself, he aint any smarter or skilled.
@TheHitez See this makes more sense... Ok, it seems like your agreeing with me, maybe you might want to re read what i said earlier... If he were talking more about CEO's and High level business people i would have no problem with this video. If you go back to what i originally said you would realize that i didnt like his reference to celebrities like 50 cent and Beyonce... But this concludes my "debate" because it seems like your getting defensive. PS Im not reading anymore into this cya
@TheHitez: The mind works better on positive thoughts--this has been proven scientifically. So how about: 'Everyone has one or more special qualities. I need to find mine and develop them to their fullest.' And please don't subscribe to the brainwash that that CEO is somehow better or smarter or happier than you because you don't have his money. Knowledge and intelligence, creativity and passion matter far more than how many idiotic meaningless green pieces of paper you have in your wallet.
To my last comment following on all I have to say is; who has the guts to be them self even though they can be put on a petastoole and get laughed at? "I will answer that from experience and laughed in their face for being a majority and not a minority"
O WOW! AMAZiN ViDEO. THANK U FOR SHARiNG THiS WiTH ME. FUNNY HOW i FEEL THiS WAY (LACK OF SLEEP) BUT LOOKiNG CONSTANTLY 4 THAT OPPORTUNiTY. THANKS AGAiN. KEEP GiViNG US WHAT WE NEED TO HEAR.
lol lack of sleep is not good at all after a period of time you can't even much read a paper without seeing double lines and getting a headache and the longer you stay up the more difficult it is to even think straight.Lack of sleep can cause bad things to happen such as passing out,seizures,car accidents and so on.Being 6'5 at 19 years old I have passed out numerous times from working out and staying up and have had 4 seizures so far.Over-all great speech
How do you define success? That's the point. Just wanting to be rich and famous isn't enough for someone to forget to eat or sleep. Wanting to help make life more authentically human for everyone in the world is a lot more interesting than just wanting material "success".
Our band director showed us this video at the end of a very lazy practice. I'm now at home watching it for the third time. This makes me know that I can do ANYTHING! It just takes hard work.
Wow...! Yo You Can't Even Breath Sleep Or Eat Huh! Yo That's CRAZY! But Yea I See What He Means You Gotta Want It As Much As You Living! It's Ah Serious Sacrifice And Passion........!! You Gotta Want It As Much As Life!
"if you want to be successful you have to want it as much as you want to breath"
That's all he said.. Success means different things to different people.. What do you want to be successful at? I know what I want to be successful at.
@DarthCrumbie Great point! This socal person doesn't get it. Everyone does have different perceptions of success. I won't judge this 9.00/hr person on their level of success but making a lot of money without working hard forever is part of my success plan. Here's how i'm making it happen. go to the web site of move me first
What a load of bullcrap. Being healthy comes before making money. It seems like the speaker was saying success=money....using 50 cent as an example is just lame. I consider myself successful even though I only make 9.00hr :)
That's a nice message and all, but he should have never touched that student. Grabbing a student like that was very innappropiate and probably violated that schools policy. That might fly in some inner city school, but he'd be lucky to not get sued trying to do that anywhere else.
Yea OK. Anybody involved in education knows that you don't touch a student in a classroom environment such as this - period. The only time in school where contact like that would be appropriate would be a coach demonstrating a hold in football practice or something like that. This guy was crossing the line of what is acceptable in what should be a professional setting.
A) Just because students are older, doesn't mean suddenly that it's OK to violate their personal space and put them into holds
B.) It obviously wasn't in a sexual way, the aggressive part is most definitely debatable and up for question, but most of all it was certainly in an innapropriate way and was even borderline criminal assault.
C.) This has nothing to do with me. The speaker simply displays innapropriate physical contact and violation of personal space in an academic setting.
@brothaman007 Not that you can see anything other than the back of the students head during the assault. But if so, whether or not the student approved, welcomed, asked, or invited the contact is a mute point. The contact was still innappropriate. That point is most readily observable in cases where the contact is sexual and the student encourages and invites the advances, which are still innappropriate even though the student approves of them...
@brothaman007 ...Sure, the student could have retaliated, but he was probably a polite student trying to mind his own business, was probably intimidated by the speaker, was probably suprised and stunned at the attack, and also did not want to cause a scene or disruption. I really doubt he was OK with being borderline assaulted - who would be? Maybe the speaker asked the student beforehand if it was OK to use him as a "prop" in that manner, in which case, this would have been more appropriate..
@mattm88228 Are you guy seriously arguing about how he used him as a "prop"? That is the least thing to worry about in this video... what about the message he gave? I highly doubt the student wasted his time and energy talking to his parents about how he got attacked by a motivational speaker. Don't really know why I'm wasting my time even replying but I just had to. Hopefully you don't take my reply the wrong way... I'm not trying to be rude just find it irrelevant to talk about. Take care.
@ItzSargeTv The message is fine, it's his method of presentation that sends out another message that is not so fine: that it's permissible and acceptable to violate people's personal space.
where are you getting all this "was probably" nonsense? and how do you "really doubt" that he was OK with it? did you interview the student after this was filmed? PERSONALLY, i wouldn't have thought anything of it (and might actually have been proud to be the center of attention for a few moments there)
i think you should stop taking your own personal feelings and applying them to everyone else, and telling us what we should or shouldn't see on something that's clearly subjective.
You're entirely missing the point. Whether or not the student was OK with the contact, invited it, or even asked for it is irrelevant. I do not know if the student was OK with it or not. But most people do not like being assaulted or having their personal space violated, so unless this kid is somehow different, I'm assuming he does not like being assaulted or having another male invade his personal space like most ordinary people.
@brothaman007 ...but still not a good idea. To use your picture analogy, I see a "picture" of what amounts to a physical assault on a student "framed" in the context of a motivational speech.
bahaha did your daddy beat you as a kid or something?
but in all seriousness, if the student invited an "undesirable action" (based on your subjective observation) then it is NOT a -moot- point. if the student asked to be "attacked" (lol, i can't get over that, as it's clearly not an attack, and if the student took it that way, they need to say hello to the real world, because getting "assaulted" by a motivational speaker should be one of their least concerns)
then it would be accomplishing something that the student desired, and therefore not an attack.
again, go rally with your teacher's union to further lead to increased political connectedness and contribute to the degradation of society where you're scared of insulting someone. all you're doing is embarrassing yourself here.
You're right Jaedric, I'm so embarassed for being some random youtube poster who you happen to disagree with. Come on - give me a break. And at least try and make an argument without personal attacks, they do nothing to help further your argument.
but further contribution to the topic at hand, i personally think it is quite shallow of you to sit here and preach to us what the student did or didn't feel. for all you know, that could be the speaker's friend that is a "prop" at every speech.
Like I said in my other post, if the speaker made an arrangement for the student beforehand for permission to use him as a prop, then the contact would have been more justifiable, but still not a good idea, and most likely still a violation of that school's policy.
It's pretty much the truth unless you just happen to be one of those fortunate lucky people that already have a sack a dough and create something unique everyone wants. I started online 15 years ago and believe me, I did go without sleep and without eating. Today, I am an online six figure income earner. It's been almost 15 years since I worked for anyone else and I never will again. I still go without sleep some times but it is worth it!
Absolutely true. Also, one has to be able to create a new vision that is realistic for the individual. Some people hear these speeches and feel guilty and just go sit on the couch. People who hear these things have to be taught how to believe it IS possible for THEM. There are things I accomplished that once seemed impossible. My core belief is that I never know what amazing thing I may one day end up accomplishing. YOU can find the drive to chase success TOO, even if you dont now.

@social he never said successful=money...
"if you want to be successful you have to want it as much as you want to breath"
That's all he said.. Success means different things to different people.. What do you want to be successful at? I know what I want to be successful at.
DarthCrumbie 1 year ago
@DarthCrumbie Great point! This socal person doesn't get it. Everyone does have different perceptions of success. I won't judge this 9.00/hr person on their level of success but making a lot of money without working hard forever is part of my success plan. Here's how i'm making it happen. go to the web site of move me first
makbatt 1 year ago
What a load of bullcrap. Being healthy comes before making money. It seems like the speaker was saying success=money....using 50 cent as an example is just lame. I consider myself successful even though I only make 9.00hr :)
socal2085 1 year ago
@socal2085 no, hes talking about wanting whatever you want enough. hes not saying money or work comes before health, thats an opinion

This brother can't say it any better then that!!!!! Young people this is the answer to the question " how do I become successful"
schmagogle 1 year ago
That's a nice message and all, but he should have never touched that student. Grabbing a student like that was very innappropiate and probably violated that schools policy. That might fly in some inner city school, but he'd be lucky to not get sued trying to do that anywhere else.

So thats how you guys are in the US... Sue people for touching you. Thats whats wrong with you...

@ochalot2409
Yea OK. Anybody involved in education knows that you don't touch a student in a classroom environment such as this - period. The only time in school where contact like that would be appropriate would be a coach demonstrating a hold in football practice or something like that. This guy was crossing the line of what is acceptable in what should be a professional setting.
mattm88228 1 year ago
@mattm88228
lol @ you.
a) it's a college classroom, not high school
b) it wasn't in an aggressive/sexual way
c) get over yourself and your politically correct nonsense
Jaedric 1 year ago
@Jaedric
The speaker simply displays innapropriate physical contact and violation of personal space in an academic setting.
mattm88228 1 year ago
@mattm88228 a) if these people were so opposed to being physically touched, then they could have shrugged him off or said no.
b) it was far from criminal in that the person not only did not resist, but was smiling.
c) it does have to do with you. You are being missing the painting because you are too busy studying the frame
brothaman007 1 year ago
@brothaman007 Not that you can see anything other than the back of the students head during the assault. But if so, whether or not the student approved, welcomed, asked, or invited the contact is a mute point. The contact was still innappropriate. That point is most readily observable in cases where the contact is sexual and the student encourages and invites the advances, which are still innappropriate even though the student approves of them...
mattm88228 1 year ago
@brothaman007 ...Sure, the student could have retaliated, but he was probably a polite student trying to mind his own business, was probably intimidated by the speaker, was probably suprised and stunned at the attack, and also did not want to cause a scene or disruption. I really doubt he was OK with being borderline assaulted - who would be? Maybe the speaker asked the student beforehand if it was OK to use him as a "prop" in that manner, in which case, this would have been more appropriate..
mattm88228 1 year ago
@mattm88228 Are you guy seriously arguing about how he used him as a "prop"? That is the least thing to worry about in this video... what about the message he gave? I highly doubt the student wasted his time and energy talking to his parents about how he got attacked by a motivational speaker. Don't really know why I'm wasting my time even replying but I just had to. Hopefully you don't take my reply the wrong way... I'm not trying to be rude just find it irrelevant to talk about. Take care.
ItzSargeTv 1 year ago
@ItzSargeTv The message is fine, it's his method of presentation that sends out another message that is not so fine: that it's permissible and acceptable to violate people's personal space.
mattm88228 1 year ago
@mattm88228
where are you getting all this "was probably" nonsense? and how do you "really doubt" that he was OK with it? did you interview the student after this was filmed? PERSONALLY, i wouldn't have thought anything of it (and might actually have been proud to be the center of attention for a few moments there)
i think you should stop taking your own personal feelings and applying them to everyone else, and telling us what we should or shouldn't see on something that's clearly subjective.
Jaedric 1 year ago
@Jaedric
You're entirely missing the point. Whether or not the student was OK with the contact, invited it, or even asked for it is irrelevant. I do not know if the student was OK with it or not. But most people do not like being assaulted or having their personal space violated, so unless this kid is somehow different, I'm assuming he does not like being assaulted or having another male invade his personal space like most ordinary people.
mattm88228 1 year ago
@brothaman007 ...but still not a good idea. To use your picture analogy, I see a "picture" of what amounts to a physical assault on a student "framed" in the context of a motivational speech.
mattm88228 1 year ago
@mattm88228
bahaha did your daddy beat you as a kid or something?
but in all seriousness, if the student invited an "undesirable action" (based on your subjective observation) then it is NOT a -moot- point. if the student asked to be "attacked" (lol, i can't get over that, as it's clearly not an attack, and if the student took it that way, they need to say hello to the real world, because getting "assaulted" by a motivational speaker should be one of their least concerns)
Jaedric 1 year ago
@mattm88228
then it would be accomplishing something that the student desired, and therefore not an attack.
again, go rally with your teacher's union to further lead to increased political connectedness and contribute to the degradation of society where you're scared of insulting someone. all you're doing is embarrassing yourself here.

You're right Jaedric, I'm so embarassed for being some random youtube poster who you happen to disagree with. Come on - give me a break. And at least try and make an argument without personal attacks, they do nothing to help further your argument.
mattm88228 1 year ago
@mattm88228
but further contribution to the topic at hand, i personally think it is quite shallow of you to sit here and preach to us what the student did or didn't feel. for all you know, that could be the speaker's friend that is a "prop" at every speech.
Jaedric 1 year ago
@Jaedric
