Winning without fighting is usualy possible because Sun Tzu emphasised on diffusing conflict early before it can escalate.

actually it's more about how to control your opponent with deception and strategy and frustrate him/her to submit to you, thus u will win.

No, getting to that stage is inferior. It is better to make yourself invincible first so that opponents will not contend with you in the firstplace. It is stated explicitly that conflict or aggresion is inferior.

Ideally, your opponent capitulate to you. You don't have to make yourself invincible, sometimes it can be done with trick. Take Poker for example, very often you see people giving up lots of chips for inferior cards.
