Last year more than one in every 200 dollars donated to Susan G. Komen foundation went to pay the CEO's salary - almost as much as Planned Parenthood received. I wonder how much the CEO is making from her decision to cut off the most effective breast cancer prevention organization in the world.
I donated yet again to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and will continue to do so as always. One decision doesn't change the fact that this charity continues to help millions. According 2 PP in the past 5 yrs support from Komen allowed their health centers to provide nearly 170,000 breast exams & 6,400 mammogram referrals. The decision has succeeded only in depriving low-income women of cancer screenings that could save their lives a move that flies in the face of Komen’s mission
