Heraldo failed to mention that the ones being deported are getting caught 3 and 4 times over reentering the country and in most cases are involved in some level of crime in order to maintain a lower profile. Taxes being paid by the illegals are collected from low paying jobs which isn't enough to cover the costs of providing free medical, schooling, and food stamps for their families so that argument is dead. Illegals are sending remittances back to Mexico at a rate of over 2 billion annually.

The anchor baby dilema is another problem and the jobs just aren't here. Lincoln a Republican freed the slaves. Democrats where responsible for the Jim Crowe Laws against the Africa-Americans. Esienhower a Republican signed the first Civil Rights act in 1959.The Unions where good at first because we didnt have OHSA and other government agencies to protect workers and their rights.

If the USA were to rid itself of the welfare state, the illegal immigration issue would largely (not entirely) dissapear. Illegals do jobs that Americans won't do--because too many Americans find welfare to be a better alternative. Illegals can get free health care and education for their kids because the authorities cannot ask about their immigration status. Jump the border to get your kid born in the USA. Now you can live on welfare forever.
