@GhettoSoul9 Yeah I checked it actually never hrd it before but it is better than the faith joint to me too. But I have to rock this again for rappers
My fav song from Biggie but after hearing this nd even aft hearing faith and rae version...I'm gonna have to resample and O-FFICIALLY MURDA IT!!! Classics
Fuck Me Brilliant!!!!!! Yes ive come upon yet another genius LOVE Youtube was watching a movie and researched who the genius was behind all that good good so so good my hearts gonna burst vibe yes!!!!!
i found this lp last summer for 99 cents, i got it since it was an old dave grusin/grp record with his version of "friends and strangers"...pretty nice album, up until the last track, i'm like, "oh snap, biggie!!!!"
I have a similar request: I'm looking for the recording he did for the 1980 movie "All Night Long" (with Barbra Streisand) entitled '"Cheryl's Theme." I'd love to hear that song again, but I cannot find it anywhere! If you could help, it'd be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
in the 90's, hip hop producers were people who listen very good music and they sample very good songs. right now, hip hop is sleeping and i can't listen today's songs, they are souless
I heard Dave Grusin's "Discovered again" Vinyl recordng when I was buying my Hi-fi equipment. The sound was unbelievable! I bought the record and the equipment and have been a fan ever since. His CD "The Gershwin Collection" is one of the finest arrangements of George Gershwin's music I have ever heard.
The first time I heard this song I was at Jack-In-The-Box getting ready to order. I fell in love with this track but didn't know who made it. A decade ago, I brought the cassette copy of Dave Grusin's "Mountain Dance", and I enjoyed all 7 songs. But when I got to the 8th song, BANG!! There it was!! It's called "Either Way"! All along I had that song, and right now I still have the tape with the song I was looking for!! Thanks!!
@svendiamond Yes we can! However, while Easy Mo Bee was the primary architect on "Ready To Die", it was actually Digga who produced the track "Everyday Struggle".
man the chord arrangements in this piece. this sample is like for my favorite song on Big's 1st album. and i see why. it hurts cuz it was this music that made it great. wow what a great tune. i couldn't believed that some posted it and i found it. it's like a treasure lol. ok i'm done... i love this, thank you
@8grove That would be Kay Gee with the sharp ear.....even though Puffy got te credit for that RTD album, despite having produced only 6 of 19 tracks and 1 intro.
Awesome!! "Mountain Dance" is a milestone in the jazz/fusion-genre! :o)

wow, this is AMAZING
To be a ill producer, you gotta do MADD RESEARCH to separate yourself from the rest. Whomever produced "everyday struggles" is a F'N GENIUS!
And this song/ballad right here is as smooth as butter!

and if you listen closely at 4:09, it appears as tho thats what R.Kellz sampled for his "step in the name of love". Sounds EERILY SIMILAR!

I'm sure when Dave Grusin made this track he know Biggie Smalls was going to sample it in a song. Not sure if there is a bigger contrast of people.

not Easy Mo Bee. I meant to say the "bluez brothers" -- it's not "Digga" either... it's definitely the Bluez Brothers who produced this beat.
