  • Awesome!! "Mountain Dance" is a milestone in the jazz/fusion-genre! :o)

  • wow, this is AMAZING

To be a ill producer, you gotta do MADD RESEARCH to separate yourself from the rest. Whomever produced "everyday struggles" is a F'N GENIUS!

And this song/ballad right here is as smooth as butter!

  • @FlipStar26

and if you listen closely at 4:09, it appears as tho thats what R.Kellz sampled for his "step in the name of love". Sounds EERILY SIMILAR!

  • all u remix consumers better recognize orignals ok..

  • this the only one of his videos with no dislikes. Cmon now black folks...

  • oh my God

    this is more than music

    it's soulful

viva old school music does not matter hip hop - classis - jaz - r&b

sometime I wonder why shall I be in this world ?

why I did not come in the past ?

    respect from K.S.A

  • The way Dave Grusin looks on that album cover, he looks like he really does go Either Way.

But who cares when the music is this fine!!!

  • I'm in love with this song!!

  • this is my favorite song on this excellent album , just good music

  • Love this track Thank you for the post!!!

  • I also notice that Faith Evans & Shareeefa had samples of the beginning of this song. Hip-hop know they could steal some samples!

  • please turn off your cell phones, are emergency exits at the front of each aisle, throw your trash away

    enjoy the show

  • Beautiful!!

  • That's why you drink Tanqueray

So you can reminisce and wish

You wasn't living so devilish shit

  • EVERYDAY STRUGGLE B> I> G

  • ...great track...but judging by the pic, Biggie doesn't approve of the outfit...I agree.

  • I have a similar request: I'm looking for the recording he did for the 1980 movie "All Night Long" (with Barbra Streisand) entitled '"Cheryl's Theme." I'd love to hear that song again, but I cannot find it anywhere! If you could help, it'd be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

  • nice... biggie, i gut sweet tears... ;]

  • Wonderful Video... and amazing original score... thank you

  • sampling, just like remaking movies, is a plus because if you care enough you can seek out the original source.

  • simply da best

  • how to sample this?

  • in the 90's, hip hop producers were people who listen very good music and they sample very good songs. right now, hip hop is sleeping and i can't listen today's songs, they are souless

  • @nevadaas I totally agree with you. a majority of the stuff that is out there that people have the nerve to call hip hop is rubbish!!!

  • I heard Dave Grusin's "Discovered again" Vinyl recordng when I was buying my Hi-fi equipment. The sound was unbelievable! I bought the record and the equipment and have been a fan ever since. His CD "The Gershwin Collection" is one of the finest arrangements of George Gershwin's music I have ever heard.

  • I'm seeing body after body

  • I'm sure when Dave Grusin made this track he know Biggie Smalls was going to sample it in a song. Not sure if there is a bigger contrast of people.

  • so good....

  • The sample song of Everyday struggle sound like a porn song.

  • Beautiful!

  • This is one of those songs that just take me back...to a simpler time.

  • The first time I heard this song I was at Jack-In-The-Box getting ready to order. I fell in love with this track but didn't know who made it. A decade ago, I brought the cassette copy of Dave Grusin's "Mountain Dance", and I enjoyed all 7 songs. But when I got to the 8th song, BANG!! There it was!! It's called "Either Way"! All along I had that song, and right now I still have the tape with the song I was looking for!! Thanks!!

  • RIGHT.

  • not Easy Mo Bee. I meant to say the "bluez brothers" -- it's not "Digga" either... it's definitely the Bluez Brothers who produced this beat.

  • I stand corrected. It was actually Norman and Digga

  • so epic!

  • Mountain dance is the best fusion album in the world!

  • @slapbass1982 Very unlikely! It's ONE of the best. :P

  • this is smooth lay back sheet ....thnx

  • Yes u fuking know to have biggie in the picture! SSIICCKKK!

  • Congenial! ...for you to have posted onr tune and it be this one says alot about your ear and your taste......this is real serious.

  • Do you by any chance have the track "Modajii" by Dave Grusin??? If so, could you please post. Thanks.

  • No, but I will try to find it for you. Thanks for stopping by!

  • @DiggumSmack77 Hey, someone else actually has Grusin's version of Modaji posted...I added it to my favorites list.

  • enjoyed this very much, preciate it

  • Thanks for listening. :-)

  • man the chord arrangements in this piece. this sample is like for my favorite song on Big's 1st album. and i see why. it hurts cuz it was this music that made it great. wow what a great tune. i couldn't believed that some posted it and i found it. it's like a treasure lol. ok i'm done... i love this, thank you

  • this is so fuckin good

  • I'm glad that you enjoyed it, take care! :-)

  • Hip Hop producers got sharp ears...to take those first breaks....Nortorious BIG used the parts on EVERYDAY STRUGGLE

  • I totally agree.

  • @8grove That would be Kay Gee with the sharp ear.....even though Puffy got te credit for that RTD album, despite having produced only 6 of 19 tracks and 1 intro.

  • nice!

  • Thanks, I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

    Peace!

  • LOL, that's a good idea, bigmoe. Thanks for the comment, I'm glad that you enjoyed the tune.

    Peace!

  • diggums you need to start selling these songs as a mixtape realtalk i would buy them
