  • I also think it's a nice touch he's removing his clip on tie at the beginning. He's real down to earth, is this guy a Confederate general?

  • Yeah, this guy is serious. Honestly however the first time I saw this on late night t.v. I thought it was satire also. It's pretty damn funny though.

  • Every time i see this guy's commercial on late night TV I laugh. Selling our "prime" assets, which generate revenue for the state, for a finite amount of cash?? So what happens when the cash runs out? What happens when Omaha has to rent the Qwest for some event from the people we sold it too? You can figure the city will take a loss on the Qwest when all is said and done. It worries me that these are the two main points of his platform. It's not a joke, but it would be better if it was.

  • It's not a joke? Are you sure?

  • Let me put it this way... This commercial is on every commercial break on channel 7 after 11pm. So if it's a joke, it's surely an expensive one. I went to his website and he's supposedly a grassroots type organizer, and is claiming if elected he will only take $1 of his salary and put the rest back into community projects. The sound on TV is a ton better and he sounds a lot more arrogant too.

  • I don't know but it's an attention getter. I like it - first write-in campaign ive seen out here and it's the perfect year for it.

  • Please tell me this is satire. LMFAO!!!!

  • i have no idea dude. it's hard to tell. mention of selling off the qwest center and the airport make me go 'what?' though.

  • Its not, I saw this on TV. This man has some issues though.
