those pompoms are given out by the blue&White committee which is run by the students and alumni. They do it for intimidation factors...its no worse then soccer fans passing around a giant flag in Europe

im a hardcore GT fan, but this is amazing. i love it when the crowd is fired up. we do "yellow" ""jackets", and thats awesome, but Beaver Stadium is definitely louder than Bobby Dodd. good luck next year, i was crushed with the one-point loss to iowa earlier. oh well!
