  • one of the very few vehicles that actually looks better with the top down. proud owner right here 02 sebring silver

  • s2000 power

  • What would I do to work in this goldmine of cars...

  • better then the miata?

  • I've heard so many things about the car being too small, and i'm 6 2', but Chris is a pretty big guy and he didn't seem to have any problem with it. Should I still consider it as an option? Im comparing to 350z convertible.

  • that was the best review i have seen so far!!

  • the only thing holding me back from buying one is that I cant fit in it, too damn tall :(

  • @Quin874 may i know ur height sir? =)

  • Im looking to purchase one of these cars but none has come up for sale in my area so I can't take one for a ride I'm curious how well I would fit if at all? I'm 6 foot 2 about 310lbs i fit in a mini Cooper s perfectly Wonder if it's the same?

  • @Talkshitgethit69 That would be a tight squeeze my man... I own a '05 S2K, I'm 5'9" and I feel like it fits my perfectly... My younger brother who is an inch taller than you but only around 235 lbs and he BARELY fits in my car with the top up, with minimal leg room. The S2K is definitely a squeeze for larger people but if it's tolerable you will forget all about being comfortable once you start driving! :-)

  • @redraiders07 yea thats what i was guessing im pretty sure i could wedge myself into it if i really wanted to lol thanks for the advice!

  • they have porn on youtube now?

  • the vtech gave me a boner

  • "its a pretty.... sexy car" lol

  • @kyleisreallycool

Ha yea true I just drove my friends and I love how the vtec catches at 5-6rpm and how it has more of an over steer unlike the ap2.

  • @RachelFuryRocks get the 2.0L it revs higher and is more fun and makes more peak hp. It will also be cheaper.

  • I miss these in my sub box.

  • Im gonna buy one of these for my first car worked my ass off for it!! Hopefully insurance wont be a hassle :/

  • 5 Stars Short Film

  • this was uploaded on my 20th bday!!!

  • I agree very nice video, one day I will own S2000 my favorite car.

  • lol 9 k isnt like a motorcycle engine.

The GSXR 600 revs to 16,500 RPM.

S2000s are excellent cars. Rather have the AP1 then the AP2, but still; a very nice car.

  • @DeSmetownescbc word plus the ap1 revs higher

  • you know this dude loves his job!

  • Nice vid, really a different kind of review thn others.

  • stability not skid

  • I'm so getting this car when I get my liscense. Right now now I'm learning for the permit. Luv Hondas -3

  • How do you know when the clutch is good, is it when it takes off closer to the floor or when it grabs at the end???

  • I am in market for one right now.....My 335i is for sale :)

  • Bought my 2002 off the showroom floor from David Hobbs Honda in Milwaukee December of 2001. It will be 10 this year. It's got 13k on it (never been out in bad weather)...the 1st time I drove a used one I felt like Wil Smith in Independence Day.....YEE HA!...I have to get me one of these.....

  • @beavass You're a fag, this guy (Chris) is THE man! I would totally buy a car from him. I know he's the kind of guy that would honor anything he says and If there was a problem, he'd make it right. He's the kind of guy you WANT to run into when buying a used car.

  • this car probably comes as close to perfection as it gets :)

  • I'm glad you guys made this video. This car rocks (I'm with you, this car in black is sexy), but then It's very hard to find a video that explains how good the S2000 is and why it's worth having.

    I'm a fan !

  • one of the purest car ever built. not a fan of sporty cars but s2000 is quite heroic!

  • Dude the hour you put into making these videos probably gets all the people who go to that dealer to request you, genius. bet you get alot of sales from these reviews

  • I want that car when i turn 16

  • you went under a bridge, not a tunnel! lol

  • you went under a bridge, not a tunnel! lol

  • please do a Civic Si 06 and up!

  • get a hair cut man

  • bring it back honda!

  • imagine this car with a v8, every man's dream

  • Stop touching your hair!

  • Actually, it was from 2004 and up that Honda started to implement the f22c engine.

  • My brother had a 2004 Honda S2000. He didn't make payments to it got repossessed. The car is quite powerful for a small 2.0 liter. I was hitting 120 on the Highway smashing gears. Manual Power. I could feel the metal from his Teins smashing underneath the car.

  • I'd rather have you host US Top Gear...

    Great review!

  • this guy actually knows his stuff or he studies up, unlike all those other half twits that try to sell me they're shite.

  • Work on your "uh" and "um." It's just really distracting haha. Good video though.

  • the ricer car......

  • @GrandMasterBison, the driver's car.

  • @GrandMasterBison just cus it's japanese does not mean it's rice. rice is all the cheap( nonfunctional ) parts that kids put on there cars !

  • @GrandMasterBison that owned a muscle on 1/4 mile...

  • o 2006 NVM

  • what year is this car

  • Is it just me or do people put too much emphasis on the Vtec system. Don't all cars have literally the same if not very similar variable valve systems?

  • MAN I love honda!!!

  • hey chris im interested in one of these hows the engine room is it roomy enough for modifications?

  • They changed the 2,0 to 2.2 in 2004, not 05, Chris.

  • is it turbo charged?

if not i will go turbo it

  • unbeliveable...i have abeautiful 2005 with 12,000 miles on it excellent condition and i love it sooo much that it makes me want to buy another one....(i think i might)

  • how much? im interset

  • i thought the flip up radio cover was to keep out moisture not to keep u from being distracted my friend has a delsol and his also has that type of cover.

  • those sandals piss me off

  • Great Review

  • vehicle stability assist i believe

  • I look at this video over, and over again. Not only because Chris does the best reviews, but because I love this car so much and cant wait for the day I buy my 2009.

  • Would you recommend a two seater of any kind as a first car?

  • @AcousticAdobo no....a 2 seater as a first car? Well how old are you is actually the question. You could be straight out of college but 80% of ppl tend to wreck their first cars.i recommend a nice 4 seater, or a jeep. Cant go wrong with a jeep lol

  • how someone explain why clutch engage very bottom is a good sign or whats that suppose to mean? thx

  • that's one hell of a car

  • why do you have to hold the clutch down while starting?

  • Man you are the best, I watch all your reviews, and enjoy them so much. Thank you for all your hard work!

  • finally a great review for s2000

    thanks.

  • BEAUTIFUL! how much!!! i want it.

  • Weirdly, this is probably the best S2000 review I've ever seen, better than TopGear's Fifth Gear's and and the U.S shows too. Top job - my MX5 will be swapped for a 2004/5 S2000 soon : )

  • Good video, and obviously the car has ~25k miles on it...but that carfax report shows the odometer @ 40,532 (pause at 7:58). Autocheck shows it @ 25k.

    Mistype the vin on carfax?

  • Great catch! I actually bought this car from a Honda dealer that I've known for a long time...if you look at the CARFAX, you can see the 40K entry was done in their service department when this car went through it's certification...but they took care of it the day I bought it. Great catch, really....thanks for watching!

    Chris

  • @chicagocarsdirect I know this is an old video and obviously this is pointless now but I'd thought I'd mention that 40532 Kilometres equals 25185 Miles which possibly explains those readings.

  • 25000 miles= 40,532 kilos japanese car

  • The best review i saw on tube about S2000.

  • i love my s2000. by far the best car ive owned. absolute bliss to drive at night with the top down.

    VSA is vehicle stability assist.

and its an FR/mid. perfect 50/50 weight distribution. and you left out the Limited Slip Differential

  • to bad its being discontinued. (rumors on a new version)

  • this car is phenomenal. i love driving it everyday(daily driver). i have been driving this car for over a year now and i still get excited when i get into it. you can also check out my video to see how much fun you can have with it.

  • Great VDO.

  • This car is "Wonderful".

  • thinking about getting a used one. Great car for the money

  • I cannot wait to buy this car, gonna get an 09 as soon as i graduate from the police academy!

  • that what he called a tunnel haha cant blame him caught up in vtec i dont blame ya

  • this is gonna be my 1st car

  • i know you are driving to show the amazing vtec but at 5000miles the car hasnt even been broken in...and hes drives it right to the red line a few times just in the video.

  • It has 25,000 miles.

  • the car was an 06 with 25,000+ miles on it. are you hard of hearing?

  • looks like you had a oragasam at 6.29 lol

  • great review as always..and Btw, I think Chris can chose to dress the way he wants..he has agreat job and hes aloud to dress casually..

  • I'd rather deal with a casually dressed salesman that is really knowledgeable about the stuff he's selling than one dressed nicely that knows nothing.

  • @MBML320 So if he dresses up how would that make a difference in his ability to review the car? That goes for anything.. when your displaying a product whether it be homes, cars or even candles, serious buyers who put money on the table want to be confronted with a man who has stature..

  • don't forget the hidden compartment! great vid wish i could buy one

  • I can't believe how cheap cars are in the US.

  • yeah..their double the prize of us in my country..portugal sucks =(

  • i think its because rather or not we buy the car.. someone else does.. and im pretty sure he makes money... assuming this is his business not someone elses.. he can dress however he wants.. he has money. =)

  • Would make a nice weekender.

  • even a daily also.

  • no thrust test? : O(

  • hey chris have you ever crashed a car on a test drive ?

  • Hahaha well done Chris. It's about time you had the vtec monster on here. Shame that it has lost 1000 rpm

  • Haha, I was just thinking today how I wanted to see Chris do a video on the S2000. I love his overviews.

  • 3rd

  • Cute car

  • for just $21,990
