@greenfox4075 I have now installed and tried out your VTPO Christie composition, and I loved playing on it with my recently aquired yamaha HS6, I have spent the last couple of hours just playing, exploring and enjoying the sounds from it, the registrations are really userful and very informative for a newcomer like me. @poconopipeorgans thanks for your comment. yes to all the above, Ian has a lovely fresh style for playing relatively modern music on an organ, this jOrgan system does sound very good in real life. The sound recording from the camera is a surprise, it is a small Nikon still digital camera with a MOV file movie function. This is using its internal microphone.

Is that a Yamaha e series chassis?

@theorganloft Yes, it is a Yamaha E5AR with the tab rail removed and a third Yamaha keyboard in its place. I have used ucapps MidiBox MIDIIO128 as the MIDI encoder system. There are 32 pistons for activating combinations in the virtual organ software. The Swell of volume pedal also sends MIDI messages. In this example the virtual organ software is jOrgan running a Disposition I created myself to replicate our local Christie theatre organ.

@greenfox4075 This is wonderful. I threw away an entire E console last year. I kept the pedals. I have a Conn 643 that is dead. I want to do the same that you did but I also want to be able to assign other instruments to the original Organ Tabs. Can that be done in JOrgan? I also have a e112 Hammond that is dead. I want to use Jorgan to make it a Midi B4 and add other synthesizers to it. THanks, Abe of the Organloft

The short answer is yes. jOrgan give you the capability to do this, however there are a number of different aspects of console MIDI connections, jOrgan disposition, and source sound material (depending on the sound-engine you chose to use). jOrgan is the "Relay" between the console and the sounds. It doesn't actually make any sounds, but gives you the mechanism to link to either software or hardware sound-engines. This is a big subject. email me: greenfox4075@gmail.com
