  • Wow, those were the days. As a child, I remember when game shows were all over daytime TV. Eventually, soap operas took over. Nowadays, it seems like it's nothing but sleazy talk shows.

  • The hell? Hugh Downs actually did something besides 20/20???

  • Yes, 'Tube', NBC had an all-color daytime lineup- after "CONCENTRATION" was finally converted to color In November 1966- and "THE PAT BOONE SHOW" was part of it. His series only appeared for one season, through the summer of '67.

  • what's the name of the background music?

  • I couldn't tell if "Pat Boone" was in color or not.

  • I remember Snap Judgement from the late 1960's. During the final weeks of

that show, it morped into the Password format.

  • I wish I grew up in the '60s! :(

  • I only 10 and in school back then. In fact, I found out that my teacher that year, Mrs. Grotz, passed away back in August. I was sitting in her class back then.

  • Thanks for the memories!

  • I wish they'd bring back "Concentration". Maybe things are too dumbed down these days...

  • The problem is most of the shows you and I may have enjoyed growing up are to complicated. Even Betty White said they can't even bring back "Password" the way it was played 30-40 years ago because of our "dumbed down" society. "Jeopardy!" is the only "real" game show that exists today..

  • @JoshuaTaylor They had plans to have Concentration back in 2000. But NBC scrapped that in favor of a 3rd hour of The Today Show.

  • Great find... although I was a mere newborn in fall of 1967 ;-) I guess momma looked at some of these programs while tending to her baby... lol...

  • i have the SNAP JUDGEMENT home game, which is the only other proof that it existed.

  • I just LOOOOOOOVED Eye Guess.

I also remember Jeopardy with Art Fleming, and knew of him even before that.

(Uh-uh, cut that out, trying to figure out my age, LOL).

    Merry Christmas.

  • i don't care what anyone says, back then NBC had the best game shows and by the way,i have proof that Snap Judgment existed,i have the home game, which i got at ebay a few years ago,so there :)

  • saml760 Ignore that motorola1a guy. he's one of those all too common "Youtube haters, y'now the low life idiots who like to abuse the 1st ammendment and spike the punch bowl with their ridiculous, hateful & dispariging comments "BTW he has'nt posted a comment in 4 months so the rest of YT can breathe a sigh of relief. Nice to find these TV gems on the Tube that give a peek into what daytime TV was like in the 60s. great vid!

  • Yeah NBC made a Snap Judgement and cancelled the show and erased the tapes so there would be no evidence except this.

Now I know why I would cry every mornng in 1967. The lousy line up of shows. Luckily that was the year I started school.

  • Keep the memories coming please!

    Thanks for posting!

  • So I assume this was before the FCC screening for seizure inducing commercials...

  • wow another briliant hater, Yay!

  • No episodes of "SNAP JUDGMENT" are known to survive, having been all erased by NBC-TV after their broadcast.

  • Actually, this promo was seen between April and June 1967; "SNAP JUDGMENT" premiered in April- Pat Boone's daily series went off the air that June, replaced by Larry Blyden's "PERSONALITY"}.

  • I was only 10 years old and in school back then when these shows were on.

  • The announcer on this promo was Vic Roby, one of several V/O's heard on many an NBC network promo into the 1970's - along with the likes of Bill Wendell, Howard Reig, Mel Brandt, Wayne Howell and Fred Collins.
