Not to mention that this is a timed race. You are on the clock to complete 3 jumps and get back to shore. Sure he can hit it wide open get good distance but you lose some time then lose the competition. I took 1st in that competition this year in victoriaville.

my brother had a 550 and out ran a 800, he just grabbed it and the 800 was infront but then he was in a bumpy area so my brothers 550 flew past him.

It's my buddies machine and he's riding a full mod polaris running on 110 octane!  Has been known to outrun 800's with this machine!!

This guy raced pretty good in Fremont this weekend, but lost it in the finals and ended up sinking it. He raced pretty well all day.
