For all of you afraid of the world becoming empty, think about this, there will always be straggelers that will level their chars up even years after the game release, and there will always be people who want to lvl up new chars especially after each expansion. thats their way of making sure people wont be just using half of the world.

i used to play vanilla wow and my parents made me stop the game.. i started playing recently with my friends acc and all i can say is that old-school wow was better.. 5 hour long AV, you needed skills to get good gear, had to spend weeks on leveling, all that is gone now, BUT, blizzard knows what they are doing.. they brought these changes to make the game more fair to everyone so players wouldn't lose interest to the game.. i understand their changes and wow will always be the best game!

I figure since I started playing Horde; then switching to alliance for the majority of the time, I would resurrect myself back to horde as Goblins are my favored choice now. WoW is still too "Toon-Like" for me. I was told the new WoW had a new engine... but when i see this video i see nothing has changed about the graphics.

What i did hope was -

- improved graphics, or an updated engine

- to be more real-life like in the open terrain rather than this toon-world

it is sad that Blizzard allways use the same boring engine for all their "top games". even starcraft 2 bored me out, i expected more after 10 long years.

@PunkBuzter If you want a good game w/o the "Toon-Like" graphics, check out DDO. Thats what I've been playing every so often and it is also very challenging between 6-20. Rift looks great too! I have been paying on a game, but it too has "Toon-Like" graphics (hehe). For myself, lately I jump around between MMORPGs and will continue to do so even when I return to WoW.

I'm glad they went this way for an expansion. after 6 years on alliance I just recently transfered to horde and was not looking forward to learning all the cities and maps, but it looks like from what I can tell, I would have to regardless of the switch. I am impressed with what they've added and changed.

Hey guys, I'm buying a new laptop, and I'm thinking of giving wow a try. Do you think a computer that obtains 2 GB's of memory and a 256 Mb graphic card would at least give me decent game-play? There's nothing more annoying then low fps (frames per second) and glitchiness.
