Did we also forget that Gloria Taylor recorded the vocal version first on the Silver Fox label?........An often covered Ric Tic classic from the '60s......superbly done by Jean Terrell & The Supremes.....should've been released as a single
Nice version. I think that Gloria Taylor did a version on Polydor (UK). . Al Kent was one of the first Ric Tic 45s that I bought. Thanks for the posting
Jean sounds so fine here & this great singer finally gets her just due with the release of the 3CD masterpiece "This Is The Story" and what a stunning one it is!
@Vincent50 NO It is defo Mary and Cindy on this. I have it down on my recording log as Mary Wilson and Cindy Birdsong vocals added 23rd January 1970.
The songs with Jean and the Andantes was only a tiny few and they were all done in 1969 on the recording log I have, then from 1970 onwards Mary and Cindy were on the tracks and the Andantes were no more THANK GOD!. xxx

Jean sounds so soulful and sexy. Glad to know that Mary and Cindy were added to this track.

Sounds like Jean with the Adantes again. Still this is a good cover of this song.
