  • maybe u didn t notice the name of this song is rainbow culture

  • I was replying to cedrusdodara

  • Aswad ! Increible banda. ¡ RASTAMAN VIBRATION IS POSITIVE ¡

  • Whos got a clip of "this is live and direct, live and direct, ya know what that mean? It mean live and direct".. Love that shit. Don't even smoke any more.

  • Man, I grew up with this concert of Aswad in Rockpalace.

If you have more songs of Aswad and Chalice in Rockpalace, can you please post it?

    Thanx a million and Bless!!!

    Peace and Love.

  • Has anyone got Rockers Medley by Aswad, top tune about 10 minutes long

  • Had to stop it right there at 1:03 to roll a big fat one. Fucking ROCKING good post, back laters... ;->

  • Kai gamo ta reggae..

  • oh bring back the 70s roots! wicked! was great music back then! in our 40s and 50s but we still are the children of the rainbow jah love

  • Very powerful group that not only showcase true and real reggae music but good realistic and emotional lyrics but truly wonderful vocals this is missing from reggae music today .. no longer chasing from the breeze in the concrete jungle african children but shining like a star because its not our wish that we should fight eve though three babylon come to make I and I run "back to africa" why because its just a little herb ive been saving..ASWAD must come bout live and dirct once again

  • Thank you for posting Selassie73.....wonderful memories. This is the Aswad I treasure. (Imani, Bradford U.K)

  • Respect man..

  • ASWAD...

The band's formation in 1975 and their full emergence in 1976, when they were snapped up by Island Records, marked a significant point in Reggae history because they were the first UK band to be signed by a major company. Not only was Aswad's sound authentic and militant but positively original, unlike many of their Jamaican counterparts.
