The government is making money making slaves out of smokers with outlandishly high taxes on tobacco products. It is DISCRIMINATION against smokers and a form of SLAVERY. This type of crap should not be happening in a so called free country with equal rights. Why doesn't the ACLU stick up for smokers rights? Are they paid off by somebody?

btw, the health books i had all through school actually said it takes the human body 2 days to repair damaged due to one cigarette and 1-1.5 for a black & mild or small cigar (black & milds are technically ciggies, but more pure.most of the chemicals are left out)

i don't smoke, but what's the harm in other ppl doing it?i can understand being upset with ppl smoking in restaurants or in your face, but it's not your choice;it's theirs.

besides, eating at McDonalds once a week does far more damage to your body that having 3 or 4 ciggies a week.

Also, truth and most if not all anti-smoking ads are paid by smoking companys and all truth commercials are so bs statistics that even some none smokers think there stupid, but whats the point of the commercials then? To still let you know that cigarettes are still here. Its almost a ad commercial for cigarettes. Besides if you need a commercial to tell you to stop smoking or not to start your an idiot in the first place. Most if not all sokers just dont care.

Do any of you accually know that many people dont die of smoking? Not all not even half the smoker population in the world will die of smoking, some will but not all. Both my grand parents smoked and they lived to there mid 80's. Ive smoked for 10 years and the worst that its effected me is smoker smell and the ocasional cough once or twice a year. Smoking effects people in diffrent ways, your all just to lazy to do your own research and just swallow the truth load.

Smoking is a choice I don't agree with, but I wouldn't think of making it illegal. You know, for an action flick "demolition man" does have a point about setting too many regulations.
