That trap isn't gruesome at all...

The traps in Saw VI are not gruesome.. but they are cleverly designed...

Also... Saw VI is quite boring....

because they had to set up more sets and traps, and pay twice as many actors and twice as many set builders and twice as many staff. that and the popularity of saw 1 bumped that up the celebrity status of every one who returned for the second movie, who in turn asked for more money. But yeah... 30 thousand dollars is really low budget for a feature film. i mean even the tv show legend of the seeker gets 1 million $ per episode.

SAW 1 was not awesome , it was EPIC. It was low budget , downright gruesome and had the biggest twist in thie history of twists (at the time :P ). The only good SAW apart from 1 was 6 :P the rest failed.
