This is definitely awesome, but the Japanese cabs just don't do it for me. There's something about the big, bulky American ones that just doesn't compare. Well, maybe it's just the nostalgia. Great stuff.

@soloM81 are you talking about the American or Japanese cabs? The American cabs probably had a happ competition stick, the Japanese would have more than likely had a sanwa JLF

@ilazul Japanese cabs iam guessing all the old sf games came with sanwa so which fighting came with seimitsu. i look in the net everybody seems to have a diffrent answer for the japanese sf cabs

you gotta have double dragon or final fight. always a classic. and a racing game too like outrun, top gear, or pole position (the AAMCO beeping horn twice car commercial game)

Very cool cabinets, some of those look like they might be like a 4 game neo-geo type cabinet, very cool.

A lot of the guys i know around here are dying to get those types of "Candy" cabinets, nice collection! keep it up!

Neo-Geo's are the best, you can get up to 6 games in one machine, there's no real maintenance, and the games are pretty inexpensive.

I hope I can retro up my basement like yours in the near future

"candy" cabs usually go for 400-800, try to get in on a group buy to save on shipping (or find one locally), and the game itself could cost any amount of money.

There is a good bit of start up cost, but after that there's really no continuing cost... except more cabs.
