I live near Altoona, PA the home of Staff Sargent Mathew Ingham. My father and I was there at the airport when his body was received by the family's choosen undertaker. It was a sad occation many tears shed. I do not know his family personally but felt it was the right thing to do. Enjoy your freedoms, cause they're not 'free'. I do thank all that have served and current are serving in ALL branches of the US Military.
I knew CPL Jamie Russell Lowe (USMC) for many years. He was a kind & brave child & blossomed into an amazing young man. His dream was to be the best Marine he could be as far back as I recall & to serve his country & bring pride to his community...you did it Jamie, You made us proud. Thank you for your service sweet Jamie. You may now stand down CPL Lowe. You served your country & corps with integrity & honor. You will be missed. RIP to all the fallen. God Bless our Military, Families & The USA.
It feels unrealistic to watch guys in my age who were alive just a week ago and now they wont be in this world anymore.
I think we all should try to live our lives in memory of how easy our lives can end..always try to make the best of every day and never let small problems bring you down. Even thoug many daily things can make us feel bad, it could have been worser.
RIP Brave Soldier and thank You for your service and sacrifice. Thanks Jcostillo for doing such a beautiful job with these memorials I feel a sense of knowing a bit of each of these heroes after watching. So many are barely out of High School it's hartbreaking but I can only imagine how much hurt the families left behind are feeling. RIP US Military fallen
Thank you. I feel bad that their sacrifices are overshadowed by other events. I only wish I could do more to ease the pain suffered by their families and loved ones.
