  • Ugh I want the Ps1 Goemon games so bad.

  • @TheZachReed

the ps1 ones are pretty bad, except that one where they completely changed everyones style, that ones fun. and the one that was on japanese psn store is not that good either

  • @SHlNOBl3 What are you talking about? Uchuu Kaizoku Akogingu (1996, which is the one that is on the Japanese PSN Store) and Ooedo Daikaitenare (2001) are MUCH better games than the Goemon travesty you mention.

  • @WeskerSega

that new age whatever one was fun as fuck, to me it was. the uchuu whatever one, im at this cave level, and the music and everything just is plain boring. i prefer the n64 ones and goemon 2 though.

  • they should remake the n64 games on 3ds you know to keep the series alive plus that would be awesome

  • is the goemons great adventure game rare? cause i just bought it for $11

  • these are great games even though i've only played goemon's great adventure for the n64

  • I haven't tried the Psones games.. But i can tell without a doubt that the N64 games featuring Goemon were the best...They stole my childhood XD

  • @LuisWolf MNSG is my favorite game of all time!!!

  • I can't believe they have totally forgotten about Goemon, Sasuke, Yae, Ebisumaru and Impact. Mystical Ninja 1&2 was perhaps THE BEST platformers of the N64. Wish they would stick to their old franchises, instead of all that DDR etc., and the Goemon characters would make much better fighters in SSB than Sonic & co. :(

  • @Bluekill considering Goemon is made and owned by Konami I don't see how Nintendo has anything to do with it. plus Mystical Ninja SNES is on VC.... but it's horribly translated (Goemon is named kid ying and Ebisumaru is DR Yang.)

  • @Bluekill

    I agree.

I am so sick of DDR, Silent Hill and MGS. More Goemon. More Gradius. More Twinbee!

  • The N64's were WAY better that the PSOne's, don't you think?

  • @Fefs92 not really, each one is very different from the last, plus the ps1 games playe more like the SNES one which was fun as hell (even if the US version fucked up translations) anywho, did you guys know that Goemon's first game was a turn based rpg on the famicom?

  • super style

    がんばれ~

    mystikal ninja uggh

  • also at 0:40 seconds on this video which Goemon is that from?

  • Hey can anyone tell me what all Goemon games had co-op play? And did any of these support more than 2 playters at a time?

  • well, almost all of Goemon's games have coop play, I think the only one that doesn't have it is the "Mystical Ninja" for the N64.

Also the "Goemon's Great Adventure" for N64 have coop play for 4 players

  • What game is 3:35 to 5:00

And can i get an english copy?

  • the goemon game you are referring to is "Ganbare Goemon - Ooedo daikaiten", it was the third of the goemon games released for the ps1 in japan. And no, you cant get one in english. I know it sucks; I want it too.

  • when you switch to goemon in n64 he said ""EEKEE MAKKO COCK"

  • So many Goemon games I never knew that exist. I wish Japan could share more of them.

  • Konami would've wanted to bring this series over but honestly it wouldn't turn over a reasonable profit since, despite the series' awesome gameplay, challenge, and atmosphere, it's too Japanese for many Americans to understand.

  • @HyperSonicSquall I think now would have be the best time for these games. It would actually be profitable for Konami to release Goemon games on PSN/XBL/Wiiware. NA much better exposed to Japanese culture now.

  • Possibly, but even so, I still can't see this series appealing to anything more then a niche market. That and some, not me, would say the gameplay is extremely dated.

But like I said, that's just the audience, it's no fault of the game.

  • lol its the playstation 1

  • 5:58 how do you do that? im playin that game now still, i just got the batteries for the little green ninja robot

  • you lost? you need a hand with the game?

  • nah, i dont need any help right now, thanks though

  • It's funny how the N64 Goemon had better graphics than the PS1 Goemon, even though PS1 is a stronger system.

  • The N64 was more powerful than the PS1 (being released a year later and all). The only thing the PS1 had over the N64 - aside from the bigger library of games - was the amount of info you could fit on a disc versus a cartridge.

  • Actually, the superior AMOUNT of games on the PS1 makes me wonder if another advantage to discs is that it's easier to port games you made on a computer onto them--tellingly Nintendo switched to discs next console.

  • I loved these games back in the day, although there were plenty of occassions where I ended up throwing the controller away out of frustration. I remember comparing this to Kirby and I swear it felt like everything was in incredibly "slow" motion. This is what I call a good platformer.

  • One of the best N64 game!^^

  • i think you can get the ps one games for an emulator from goemon international

  • Well, I;d give up my elbow because I don't wanna give up any of my actual limbs.

    Cause my limbs rock.

  • I'd give my left elbow to have all the ones not released in the US.

  • It's sad that the company producing the US versions of the Goemon games is no longer around. That means unless another company buys the series, no more Goemon in the US D:

  • True, it is sad. I wish they would release some of these games On VC

  • yeah.. i got lotmn on the vc cuz its out on it because i loved the 64 games i had no idea that there were so many goeman games but i loved great adventure

  • @TonySTJ001 Imagine the 2 N64 Goemon games on the 3DS?

  • Goemon 4ever!!!

    Where is a Wii-Goemon??? ^^

  • I didn't know there was a Goemon game like this on PS1. Looks as good as Mystical Ninja Starrin Goemon 64!

  • I think the best one was the one for SNES. After that they turn the game to 3D and, to be honest, 3D is not always better.

  • Oh sweet sweet nostalgia :)

  • cool

  • I wasn't even aware of the PSone games... I've only played the N64 ones and the SNES one. Too bad the US doesn't get more, these games are not only extremely fun, but very funny!

  • Did they just enter DARK impact?

  • long live mystical ninja

  • The N64 ones were the best by far.

Come on Virtural Console...i would also like to see Goemon in Brawl.

  • 6:00

o.o Goemon can go SUPER SAIYAN? HOLY EFFIN' CRAP!

  • heheh.. I know.. It's a power up move you can use to move somthing really heavy, and do double damage; but it depletes ryo I think. Super Saiyian -> Super Sonic -> Super goeman? Lol.

  • ye when i first did that on the game i was like.....HOLY CRAP OMG OMG DBZ RIP

  • i'm suprised they didnt get sued yet

  • if he could fly in hi-speed, lanch laser through his hands and had an aura towards him, then konami would have some real problem with toriyama

  • love goemon in Nintendo only

  • yo goemon is the man, i dont like his grandson, or son whatever that tall one is. -.-

  • wat emulator r u suppose to use for goemon's great adventure?

  • dude go to romhustler dot com and youll be good from there

  • Who who the two other people riding in IMPACT in the PSone version. One was like a biker and one had spikey green hair. Was he related to Yae?

  • Gorokou is some caveman they meet during the game & Banban is an alien that crash lands on earth after being chased by Akogingu

  • I like the n64 series of Mystical Ninja, i wish well come back for collection or something.. oh well another great classic of it..

    -Favic

  • Why was the dialogue in the cutscenes in english? Strange...

  • maybe because it is the US version of the game?... ¬¬

  • But why would a Japanese video suddenly switch to the English version? Especially when the Japanese title was shown...

  • ah yes, well that was because the majority of goemon games are japanese, so i thought it would be best just to use the jap titles & for the games i owned in english i recorded straight from them rather than having to mess around with emulators.

  • @PhredLevi: It's because the N64 Games were released in the U.S,So he was playing the U.S version of them.

  • Oh wow! I remember this game from a looong time ago! I use to have soooo much fun playing them! I love that little robot kid (I forgot his name) I couldn't wait to get him! x]

  • Name's Sasuke ;)

  • Seriously? Wow, I was thinking it started with a K or something, pffffft x]

  • The two games on the N64 will always be my favorite.

    ^_^

  • This is pretty awesome.

  • I'm glad you wanna help promote this, but next time ask for my permission please, before you upload to other sites..

  • I Like all goemon games.There awsome

  • DAMN!!!! This video is awesome. Goemon will always be my favorite character. I like how this video displayed the series. The games were full of nothing but endless hours of non-stop fun. I'll remember them forever.
