  • @thekurts76 the 1250 I think was the biggest excavator used in ground zero up to today

  • Which was the biggest excavator ever used in ground zero/wtc from 2001 up today?

  • Many, many thanks for the upload of this very special video.

    Take care

  • Did they transport it on the different trucks because the crane capacity couldn't lift the entire thing at one time or is it because it's to heavy for one truck.

Up here in northern Alberta we haul PC1250s whole minus the stick and bucket. We have a 2 axle jeep, 3 axle trailer, and 2 axle booster or piggy back as you may call it.

    Great video!

  • @WesternStar4900SA Thanks for the great comment and glad you liked the video. Two reasons, because crane capacity could not lift house+tracks and that the tracks needed to be transported separately. NY/NJ/CT/PA has very strict weight law limitations. Stay tuned for a new video on moving the 1250 with tracks on.

  • @ssdphoto Oh ok, we haul it like I said, everything minus the stick and bucket, our weight laws aren't as strict.

  • i think that machine is just so awesome TESTA CORPS is just an amazing company if it wasnt for them and the workers ground zero would have never got cleaned up.i would have love to see that huge excavator in person i love big masive construction machines.

  • i got two questions, first of all which country is Liebherr from? German right? and second how come the komatsu bulldozer doesnt get a rest after two years of work? :(

  • the Komatsu 1250 bulldozer that didnt get a rest for 2 years is actually a Excavator...

  • @Mcmerc01 1)Liebherr is a German Company 2) Komatsu is Japanese 3) Its such a well built machine that it never needs to rest.
