Here's a fun fact. Before he Wrote Sugar/Sugar for The Archies, Jeff Barry along with his former late Wife Ellie Greenwich helped Write a List of Amazing Songs with Phil Spector (He's A Rebel, Be My Baby, and River Deep Mountain Hiigh). He would also Co-Write "I Honestly Love You" with the Late Peter Allen for Olivia Newton John.
Too bad this doesn't include the little Jughead moment after the song where he's up on top of the school building leading to a typical bad joke I could see a mile away!
@Pterixa That should be about a decade ago then, I was taping the show then. This was back when Hallmark still had the Filmation property and didn't trash these NTSC masters along with the film elements they made them from.
This version of the music segment has the CORRECT SPEED & PITCH.
This music segment was one of 17 "Dance of the Week" and "Brand New Song" segments originally shown on "The Archie Show" on CBS-TV on Saturday mornings in 1968, and repeated on the original hour-long format of "Archie's Funhouse" in 1970. The song, "Love Light" was included on The Archies' second LP, "Everything's Archie," released in 1968, and as the backing track on their second single "Feelin' So Good," also in 1968.

I had this song on one of those 45 records that you cut from the back of a box of Honeycomb cereal. It lasted for years.
