I can't speak to the mediamatters group, but know that he offered anyone from dailykos the opportunity to come on the show, and they declined. He also offers the same opportunity to people from NYTimes etc., so have to believe he probably invited mediamatters rep too.

Now I can't speak for the NYTimes. I don't know why they have not appeared on this program. MediaMatters is another story. David Brock of MM has sent countless letters requesting to appear of his program, to defend himself, but has never been given that opportunity.

Regardless, there are more representing differing views on his show than many other similar shows (think Keith Olbermann for example). BO does a pretty good job overall.

When you consider he's on 5 days/wk for an hour, (have no idea how many guests have come thru there) that's not bad. At least he has opposing views on there. Not all hosts do.

I too don't watch him everyday, so I can't tell you how many times, but he did cut the mike on Jane Hall when discussing dailykos. She brought up the fact that he has hateful comments on his site too. He claims he was not going to let her lie. Any intelligent adult knows that is totally BS.
