Your first three sentences are irrelevant. What matters is marginal climate forcing. Temperature increases drive CO2 increases, and CO2 increases drive temperature increases. An increase in either can kickstart the feedback. From 1940-1980, GHG concentration in the atmosphere (the relevant metric) did not triple, though it did increase. Research results, published in the March 5 edition of the journal Science, show that the permafrost under the East Siberian Arctic Shelf, long thought to be an impermeable barrier sealing in methane, is perforated and is starting to leak large amounts of methane into the atmosphere. Release of even a fraction of the methane stored in the shelf could trigger abrupt climate warming.
As Martin Heimann writes in Science: Wetlands and permafrost soils, including the sub-sea permafrost under the Arctic Ocean, contain at least twice the amount of carbon that is currently in the atmosphere as carbon dioxide. Release of a sizable fraction of this carbon as carbon dioxide and/or methane would lead to warmer atmospheric temperatures, causing yet more methane to be released. It would thus create a positive feedback loop that amplifies global warming.
By 2100, at current rates of increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide, average ocean pH will drop 0.3 - 0.4 and be @ 7.8 with an increase in acidic H+ ion concentration of 150-200%.
That will cause a 50% DECREASE of ocean carbonate ions (CO3).
Carbonate ions are needed for growth by plankton & corals at the base of the ocean's food chain.

Our planet has been in a warming trend over the last 120 years. However, the time between 1940 and 1975, when industry was cranking up, atmospheric temperature was cranking down.
Al Gore's Global Warming model does not fit the data. His basic assumption is just plain wrong. Atmospheric temperature increase before there is an increase in CO2 concentration.
If Obama and our Congress go along with Gore we will have a Global Economic Meltdown.

CO2 is not toxic, not an effective GHG, not a pollutant, and it is necessary to support plant life. Data show that CO2 concentration LAGS atmospheric temperature which undermines any support for Al Gore's model for Global Warming.
Global Warming allowed the Vikings to grow tomatoes in Canada and the English to create a wine industry and the Earth cooled off on its own quite nicely without government help.

Whilst I am for protecting the environment and reducing polution. C02= 0.038% of the atmosphere, of that human activity accounts for 5-6%. Do themaths and realise how much effect we have compared to oceans which are effected by olar activity variations. Other planets and moons within the solar system have a similar warming trend. The earth was also warmer 1100-1300, vineyards flourished in London!
CO2 is one of the main greenhouse gasses and is extremely important to all climate systems and life systems on the planet..

Basically you turn 2 tons of coal to 1 ton of coke via "de carbanization" (a chemical process) which then burns clean
ALternatively you pulverize coal to dust and send it into a 700f closed furnace system whos exhaust goes through a chemical scrubber followed by water filteration, paper filtration,ionic filtration, and electroysys filtration(US modern plants under EPA rules)

All major ice core surveys have shown that temperature increases precede CO2 increases. CO2 driven temperature increases cause faster warming in the middle of the troposphere but in reality the surface is warming faster. From 1940-1980 emissions tripled but temperature went down. Your first three sentences are irrelevant. What matters is marginal climate forcing. Temperature increases drive CO2 increases, and CO2 increases drive temperature increases. An increase in either can kickstart the feedback. From 1940-1980, GHG concentration in the atmosphere (the relevant metric) did not triple, though it did increase. Average surface temperatures also increased. 97% of climatologists (U of Illinois study) disagree with you. Excuse yourself from the debate.

A group of scientist even the majority can be sincere and have a strong case but still be wrong. If the opposition however small or unlikely is squelched, I am hesitant to jump on the bandwagon. That will cause a 50% DECREASE of ocean carbonate ions (CO3).

Our planet has been in a warming trend over the last 120 years. However, the time between 1940 and 1975, when industry was cranking up, atmospheric temperature was cranking down.
Al Gore's Global Warming model does not fit the data. His basic assumption is just plain wrong. Atmospheric temperature increase before there is an increase in CO2 concentration.
If Obama and our Congress go along with Gore we will have a Global Economic Meltdown.

CO2 is not toxic, not an effective GHG, not a pollutant, and it is necessary to support plant life. Data show that CO2 concentration LAGS atmospheric temperature which undermines any support for Al Gore's model for Global Warming.
Global Warming allowed the Vikings to grow tomatoes in Canada and the English to create a wine industry and the Earth cooled off on its own quite nicely without government help.
Al Gore wins the Nobel Prize. Big deal. So did the guy who invented the lobotomy.

Mars has warmed by 0.65 degrees celcius from 1975-2000- NASA
Neptunes largest moon, Triton, has warmed by 5 % on the kelvin scale between 89 and 98, the list goes on it cannot be denied. Solar activity is responsible. There was a temperature decrese during the industrial revolution, C02 increases with temperature largely due to increased evaporation from oceans, which leads to increased precipitation and an increase in sea ice.

Do themaths and realise how much effect we have compared to oceans which are effected by olar activity variations. Other planets and moons within the solar system have a similar warming trend. The earth was also warmer 1100-1300, vineyards flourished in London!
