  • This song I hear in my head when I slick my hair back and put on my blue jeans, black shirt and leather jacket before I destroy people in drinking games.

  • It's funny, but Load is my favorite 'Tallica record behind Master of Puppets. Every single song on it is a super solid track. Sure it's a complete departure from the 80s thrash band we all loved first, but it's undeniable that the songwriting here is top notch. If every radio rock song sounded like the stuff off of Load then we'd live in a better world.

  • @Erador haha same here this has got more style and feel behind it

  • Such an underrated song, i find that those two albums, along with st.anger, have a few of Metallicas hidden gems

  • Medicine is evil

  • I love the solo in this song. So good!

  • This is the song i listen to when i go into the hood

  • decent tune, lyrically it reminds me of leper messiah, because they're both about religious hyprocisy

  • either this or ronnie are some of their worst songs on this album but they are still good songs

  • Comment removed

  • this is probably one of their worst songs on this album, but idc still a good song

  • i don't like newsted's playing.

  • man i have been recently paying more attention to the less listened to albums by metallica (such as reload, load, st anger...so on) and i really like load. it has a funky led zeppelin type of style. re load wasnt as good, and i dont like st anger. but this album really shows how underated it is

  • @TheBashingBro ikr :)

  • I do believe this is one hell of an album ! ! !

  • 29 people keep there bullets outside...

  • im listening to this while i got a cold, after its done imma gonna be cured!

  • Metallica is the CURE, i do believe.

  • This is one of the best on Load.

  • Haha this reminds me more of good old Metallica then the newer stuff

  • @ManOwarIdk Yeah, this has that spirit to it like ol' metallica. I love Death Mag stuff nontheless, but I felt it was too focused on pleasing haters who were once fans. But those peeps need their classic metallica fix, so I won't give them any hell. But the Load albums were chocked full of feel good hard rock n metal elements. Anyone who hates on that can go to hell.

  • 28 people are obviously incurable.

  • dont make this top comment

  • awesome

  • @capnkdawg ikr :D

  • @Wi3dMaN fuck off this is a great song

  • I believe

  • one of the worst metallica songs

  • @Wi3dMaN Yet it still sounds awesome...tells you something about how great they are

  • @capnkdawg disagree

  • @Wi3dMaN Unfortunate for you

  • @capnkdawg i suppose

  • @Wi3dMaN why are you listening to it then?

  • @CITALIA22 ikr :D especially in the beginning

  • I always feel like im in some bad ass western town when i listen to this

  • lol, i had a twitch, then i played this song and the twitch is going along with the beat :3

  • i love metallica but lars is so lame

  • I could listen to only Metallica for the rest of my life and I would be a happy man.

  • The drum beat at the beginning is similar to Orion's. Anyone else think that?

  • @XPetrucciXBurtonX I never even noticed that until now. He hits the bass pedal the exact same way he did on orion

  • Damn i'm only 16 and i hope i die before any of Metallica does.

  • @jimpenguino

James Hetfield would probably say too bad.

  • ^_^ favourite album

  • 27 dislikes don't believe.

  • Wow, this really does sound like Danzig.....

  • I DO BELAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYVE THAT MORE THAN 700 PEOPLE LIKE THIS SONG, THUMBS UP IF U AGREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

  • 27 people didn't realize Metallica is the cure

  • This is such a danzig riff...

  • @PaulAll1313 figured you'd bitch about it, not a danzig riff, danzig to me werent that good, but they had a few good songs

  • @blazingboy42 Do I know you, friend?

I like this song. the riff on the cure and Thorn within remind me of classic Danzig, which is a good thing.

Metallica was influenced by a lot of Danig's work, just because you don't like his work doesn't mean shit.

  • @PaulAll1313 i dont know, you sound familiar

  • i enjoy every single Metallica album, and for people who say this isn't metal, actually this is metal but just because it isn't fast doesn't mean its not metal

  • Metallica IS the cure.

  • I agree with the top comments. Metallica have created a style all their own. I will mourn the day the greatness ends. (Lets hope its never)

  • @ShanePlew Even gods can die.

This is the sad but true truth.

  • 27 fools couldn't find the cure

  • hey everyone! he BELAYYYVESS!!!

  • @cyputts ULRICH SMASH!!

  • LOL the name of the album is LOAD. LMFAO.

  • i think u have a litle more than 35k watches....

  • Too bad Lars is a shitty drummer and one of the biggest assholes in music.

It is a shame because that douche brings down the value of James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett. Both are great guitar players and song writers.

  • @cyputts How is he a shitty drummer? Asshole? Yes, he is, Prick? Correct, but a shitty drummer? C'mon bro, get with it.

  • @Chargeglass

i agree, for ignorants just hear the drum section on the justice album, revolution ...

  • @cyputts bitch dont diss the ulrich

  • @cyputts Ulrich and Hetfield write the majority of MetallicA songs idiot

  • @cyputts if lars is such an ass then why hasnt metallica complained once in 28 years? its just you, dude

  • @cyputts How come he is such a douche when he was one of the founders of Metallica with James Hetfield

  • @cyputts yep one of the worst

  • i have all the metallica shirts i know off a pair of metallica shoes mot of all the cds and other stuff like autographed photos and posters

  • @metallicarulz12345 Damn you're fucking Metallica rich.

All I have is 6 Metallica CD's and one shirt

  • @mario1136 XD im a life lonjg fan of metallica and im 12 XD i liked them since i was well 1

  • @metallicarulz12345 haha wow

  • @mario1136 you can thank my dad XD

  • @metallicarulz12345 lol my dad doesn't really like metallica

  • @mario1136 my dad like the who more i like almost all music expect for pop and stuff like that i like floyd and the who and the beatles and maybe beatallica lol

  • @metallicarulz12345 same lol

  • @mario1136 XD pink floyd the walln

  • @metallicarulz12345 yeah good album

  • at least this album had solos. i like st. anger better than this, but i gotta have my solos in metallica songs

  • Can you really blame people for hating Load?- Alot of the songs on this album kind of suck. The people that grew up with the first 5 Metallica albums were not expecting this from them.

  • @Infowarrior2112 who cares metallica still owns almost every other band out there right now

  • @Infowarrior2112 wow just wow you think your a true fan?!

  • @metallicarulz12345 Yeah I do. I love the first 5 metallica albums. Most of load sucks I like 4 songs on load, the rest I can do with out.. Reload is good. St.anger is just fucking awful. And Death Magnetic is great, possible better than the black album.

  • @Infowarrior2112 I AS IN ME HAPPEN TO LOVE ALLL THE ALBUMS HAS ALL THE CD A FEW BOOKS AND TEE SHIRTS IM A TRUE FAN

  • @metallicarulz12345 I have heard all their albums. The only album I dont have is St. Anger, Because I heard it a few times and it was awful. I dont have all of load I have the few songs I like from that album. Again Ive heard all of load it sucked, so i took what I liked and deleted the rest.

Ive seen them life twice, and have about 8 Metallica shirts.

  • all 25 people who don't like this r all gay pop funs

  • "Big Bikes" by Kyuss. Jason said himself they took this riff straight from that song. much respect never the less metallica of course makes great music.

  • 25 people don't believe.

  • 25 people missed the like button

  • troo thrash here!!

  • Metallica is by no means the ONLY amazing heavy metal band out there. But I'm going to have to say that they are my favorite band because they are so fascinating and interesting. They keep you on your toes with every album. They kicked ass in the 80s, they kicked ass in the 90s, they kicked ass in this decade, and I am fully confident that they shall continue to kick ass until the end of time, where ever they may roam as artists and musicians.

  • this song really captures the load tone

  • 25 people are gonna need to find a cure

  • There are no favorites when it comes to Metallica. No album is better than any other.

  • @MRActionStudios i agree more metallica fans should think this way

  • @MRActionStudios Agreed :D

  • @MRActionStudios youre the second person I want to thumbs up more than once. Maybe I should make more accounts...

  • @MRActionStudios Okay yes i agree but can we at least agree that St. Anger was terrible? i mean come on... no guitar solos? not even really heavy, i mean i love metallica and im not gonna dis their 90's tunes but St. Anger was just an abortion.

In come the flow of thumbs down..but really i wanted to shoot myself when it came out

  • @ironm4id3n and so?? guitar solos dont make up the song mate...and not heavy?!? you were probably listening to another album then, st anger is heavy both in tone and meaning. you might wanna take another listen, and not just fast and rushing. sit down in a room, close your eyes and listen to st anger clearly without any distractions. you'll see the change.

  • @garranto its heavy for most bands... just not heavy for metallica. Lyrics are not bad and its not like they lost talent when the album came out its just so... 'commercial' not that i expect every album from a great band to be completely underground. For the record i listened to the album through at least 15 or 20 times in any setting you can think of and enjoyed it 'okay' but i completely lost appeal to it after a few weeks and havent gotten it back since.

  • @garranto I have the same feeling about St. Anger. Thanks for the comment. Merry Metal Christmas! Peace.

  • @ironm4id3n I had to listen a couple of times, before I came to appreciate this album. Granted, it's not as easy to listen to as the others, but think of all the shit they were going through, both as a band and personally. It was bound to come out in their music. Also, why would we want to have them write and play the same old songs? Give this album another listen. Pay attention to lyrics, please get past no guitar solos and you will see that it is heavy in content as well as metal. Peace.

  • @crazyhawk59 As i said to "garranto" i listened to it several times at its released. Being a long term metallica fan i didnt put it down immediately. I wanted to like it, i really did. And as far as their "feelings" or "what they were going through" should really have nothing to do with their music. I cant count on both hands how many bands have gone through "shit" and still made great tunes. And i also didnt want the same things over again.. i wanted better. not worse

  • @ironm4id3n For me, feelings and what they are going through count for a lot. I'm sorry you don't like it. What are some of your favorites? I know everyone likes different shit. I only have 2 or 3 songs that I absolutely don't like. The Other New Song and Invisible Kid. I love Death Magnetic--every song. Glad they came back to instrumentals, cause I listen to Suicide and Redemption over and over. I am sort of stuck in Load\Reload mode right now. Have a Merry Metal Christmas. Peace.

  • @crazyhawk59 Well i appreciate your input, my favorite albums are Kill em All and Justice.

Being a guitarist i can play all of their songs from the 80's however my favorite songs are probably Damage Inc., Blackened, Whiplash

And i agree with you in that Death Magnetic is awesome! i like suicide and redemption and lvoe instrumentals, my favorites on that album are broken, beaten, scarred and the judas kiss.

P.S i had a merry metal christmas evenn though im responding 3 months later

  • @MRActionStudios Master of Puppets >Rest of Metallica>Rest of Music>Horse Shit>Hairy Women> justin bieber...sorry I just had to infest the comment section with jb comment :D.

    Just my opinion :).

  • @oreion69 lol

  • @MRActionStudios nope. gotta disagree i love all albums but st Anger, Load, Death magnetic, ...And Justic For All, KILL'EM ALL, and Master of puppets take the cake sorry ReLoad and Ride the lighting and also Black Album. i just really enjoy those other ones more

  • @MRActionStudios The Black Album is the best one, your nuts

  • @MRActionStudios Couldn't agree more.

  • what people dont understand about Load and ReLoad is that they are blues-influenced albums. still metal, just bluesy.

  • Who could dislike this? Yes, opinions exist. But, still.

  • @TopHatTRex I was talking to someone that did dislike it, and they said it was cause they arent as heavy or have that heavy metal of a sound as they did back than.

  • 25 retarded people dislike this

  • Haha I remember Metallica sitting in on the RIAA napster meetings, what a complete failure.

  • hahaha 666 likes \,,/

  • If Load, Reload and St. Anger were done by another band, at least 75% of new Metallica haters would love those 3 albums.

  • Although prince charming he also says that low mans lyric is his most touching one he says that they will be playing it along with 2x4 next year so I can't wait although I hope fuel stops being played and is filled with struggle within

  • I heard somewhere that the reason why carpe diem baby fixxxer where the wild things are cure house jack built and slither are not play is cuz that James says there mostly personal except a few the wild things are is about how today's children get caught in our shit slither is about someone lost the house jack built fixxxer and cure also carpe diem he says there all personal and he said he would only jam not live cuz on how people would react also the thorn within and attitude also prince charmi

  • its great that metallcia have different album. i mean it will be boring if there only master of puppets albums. with tthe 90s album there is some different sound

    its great

  • @mankei13 so truuuue ! I've been trying to find someone who agree's with me on that point for so long !! i like how they mix stuff up, no matter what, they make it sound awesome(:

  • @FadeeO2black yeah. and why everybody says its mainstream? i never heard any of this songs in the radio. they are still hard. not that hard like the old but harder then many many many other bands. i love that way metallica goes in the 90's. do experiments with music. dont play hip hop or pop just ohter way of metal

    they dont play thrash metal

    the play METALLICA

its there own style so never say that load, reload or st anger arent metallica

just looke at the CD cover: there stand METALLICA

  • @mankei13 most of there newer stuff is heavier -.- but idc all of it is great :D

  • @mankei13 I know right? You never hear any of that stuff on the radio, only stuff from the black album. Its hard to even get the new album to play on the radio Yea exactly! i can't even say my own opinion on what youve said coz you explained what i would say anyway! Im glad they never turned to Pop &Especially hip hop. They stay true themselves & don't even care if people hate them. More band's need that attitude so they stop turning pop.

  • @FadeeO2black you are a real METALLICA fan. i have to say thanks for some poeple like you. people who like ALL albums and songs and respect the bands change.

    THX

  • @FadeeO2black Yeah, I read a quote of what James once said which is : "limiting yourself to please your audience is bullshit." Could he have said it any better than that? He was referring to bands that turn to pop just to keep making money and "please the crowd." Metallica writes what THEY want, not just what the audience wants. You have to respect that. \m/ ((> <)) \m/

  • @TrueGamer181 Lol. That sounds like Hetfield :D & is so true on the part about it being bullshit. Oh definitely, i dont see why bands should do that its total shit. I think thats why i respect Metallica alot more than any other band is 'coz they stay true to themselves & do things there way, no one elses. IMO, i think thats what music is about right? Playing & doing what you want, not what your record label or manager thinks.

  • @FadeeO2black That's exactly right... and nothing else matters! ;]

  • @TrueGamer181 (: Haha nice!

  • @mankei13 hell yeah finally some one explains to all the load/reload and st anger haters! some people r so stuk up and close minded, i mean do i need to hold 1 of these albums up to their faces and wen they say thats not the old metallica, i say did ride, kill, master, or justice say old metallica on the cover? no it just says plain n simple fukin straight up. . . /METALLICA\! they were, they are, and they always will be no matter wat.

  • @lCREEPINGDEATH1 hell yeah someone who agrees cuz metallica was is and always be the same in this age all these dudes are homies and obsessed with rap and pop

  • @mankei13 Thank you, /bow ;)

  • @mankei13 Megadeth did better then Metallica in the 90's. just like it did better in 00's

  • @daydayakasmokey dude black album is the resason why metal is popular.........sorry to say but just one song enter sandman spawns megadeth's 90s

  • @mankei13 they dont play thrash?? watch?v=m99ybtk4QNs

  • @mankei13 actually they do play Metallica on the radio...and it's a fair bit of their music.

  • @mankei13 AMEN BROTHER!!

  • now that im used to james' newer voice, im starting to like these albums. i mean when i first heard them, i ws like, oh no the metal is gone. but now i like them. and that is what a true metallica fan is. you like all of the albums even if theyre all not as good as the older ones. \m/(-_-)\m.

  • I love the Thrash MetallicA but this is good :D

  • Is it just me or do the drums sound the same in nearly every song on this album? (Not trolling)

  • @MeBTroll No, you're actaully right. the drums actaully do sound the same in every song

  • @MeBTroll they use same drumkit ofcourse it sound the same XD

  • @fangopango Yeah but I mean the rhythm always sounds the same.

I'm not a professional drummer or anything, but it always goes like "dun...tsh, dun...tsh"

I'm not very good at explaining I know. :P

  • @MeBTroll I for one believe that Lars is more known for his persona than for his drumming skills, but i can tell you for sure if he is behind the drums. He has a certain distinctive manner when he plays that is his trademark. No one sounds like him. And he has lost his place in nr. 1 on my top list for great drummers a long time ago, for what it's worth. But Lars is Lars. It's the same as saying that the Sun looks yellow. and sometimes it's "dun...tsh...dundun...tsh..." ;)

  • @sagan1976 Yeah, but in all their previous albums his drumming is pretty varied compared to in this album. :P

  • @MeBTroll I know what you mean, i thought the same the first time i heard this album.

  • Wow do you really have 35000 watches? You must have no problem checking the time then ;)

  • Wow this is catchy as fuck!!!!

  • ah yes, the cure. or as i call it, the continuation of king nothing. they sound the same

  • I Could Just Go On Forever - These Guys Rock, Totally!! Thank you (and good job BTL Official, thanx) So Much! I Love You, Danielle

  • Just Bieber needs Metallicas Cure!

  • @MetalMichael200 lmao! third justin bieber reference! everyone flag this metalmichael200 fagget. he's in love with justin bieber! THUMBS UP if you're tired of hearing that shit on these metallica videos

  • @MetalMichael200 LOL! i just teased this fagget so bad he closed he account lol

  • Metallica IS the Cure.

  • @TrueGamer181 Everyday baby!

  • everything metallica makes is fucking the best. ppl who think not, r stupid bags of shit, who r only lying to themselves

  • This song fucking rocks!! Gets me pumped like no other song!

  • I don't think people would've given them so much hell for this album if they released albums more frequently.

  • Jason did not do the backing vocals for those thinking that. He did do the backing vocals on Garage Inc. though.

  • 21 guys are fools

  • Awesome dead notes riff

  • Metallica all time favorite band. They kicked ass and are still kickin ass.

  • That's a cool picture... of blood and semen... makes me wonder where they got all of it to make the album cover

  • @j8ers94 Haha i bet they all contributed to making the cover

  • i believe that:

    the disease is pop music

    only we have the cure
