yea i love how ppl just say he's super broken and he's "better than weserk" although he might be in the hands of a very good player, in the hands of anything below that he's not "better than wesker" by any means imo. Zero's combos aren't that braindead and if you mess up and miss one block? say bye bye. Its also ideal to have both of your assists ready for TOD's which discourage you from using them outside of combos. go watch some norcal region 2011 vids and see how many "broken" zero's won.

@Dwish305 but that's the thing, teir lists don't bring in execution as a factor, teir lists are meant to represent a character at it's best... if you don't play a char at it's best... then you and your thoughts don't count towards the teir lists... think... SF4... Hakan will bust your ass if you don't know the matchup... but if you do... then he's free... doesn't mean that Hakan is bad... just means that he's not so good if you know what you're doing vs him...

I just get annoyed when ppl talk in a way where they say that zero is broken or top tier but the execution and time to get there is no where near than what it is compared to other characters, especially wesker.

@Dwish305 think about this.... you say the execution needed make you want to defend it... but Me playing vs zero... i don't see the execution... i see the result. And the result is what matters, If the result is strong, then the execution is worth it... remember this combo may be hard at first, but you practice it like any BnB and master it so you don't drop it. After a full day of practise i've done the combo myself, from not using Zero to doing TK lightning and lvl3 busters,

@phillie301 If you can't see the significance of being able to do combo without pre-charging the buster, starting with any meter, using assists, using X-Factor, and said combo would kill over half the cast, end up in the corner, and leave you with 70% of a meter extra afterwards, then I think you need to check your head.

While impressive, I think it really depends on getting that first clean hit in. I'm sure there's a wide variety of characters that can do impressive things when they land that first clean normal like that, but in competitive play, you're not going to be landing clean hits like that.

Banning or nerfing Zero is stupid, the game is balanced as it is, the low health balances him out. To those saying just snap him out, don't; KILL HIM. X factor if you have to, it's that important. Also, as a Zero main, I can safely say that if you see Zero on a team he is that player's main character, so if you kill him they're in BIG trouble. Also punishing his assists is a great way to mess up the bnbs because many Zero players really on assist extensions (not necessary, but can't hurt.)

@dolphinsays well, that's the thing. teir lists don't bring execution or technical ability into factor. It's meant to represent a character used at it's best. Meaning, you don't crop combos, Plus, this combo isn't too hard, Like most of the better combos it will require some training mode time,

Tip for Raikousen loop, 62369 then L there is a delay before the 9 and the L, but it's very small, if you don't include it... you'll get ryuejin.

@Akabane011 I think the only thing worthy of considering banning right now is Firebrand's snap loop, but that's not enforceable without banning the character (which I don't condone). Zero is mad BS, but there are other characters on very similar levels of BS (Firebrand, Viper, Dante) and lots of characters (including Wesker) with the tools to reach that level of BS, but that's still not enough to warrant character bans. It is after all, mahvel baby.
