You can try use Skype or Twitcam. Twitcam can't see one another, but they can interact with u & see u (ur the host). And it also record the session so that viewers can replay the video for that session. :)
Skype is the best thing for talking to people in real time with people that are camera to camera. It requires that you buy a phone line but you can check it out for free its a free account butyoucant call your friends unless you have a mintue plan. I think your vrey PRETTY :-)

I don't know if anyone has already suggested camfrog. You can setup a video chat room there and everyone can connect to that room. The thing i like about this is that only 1 person can broadcast the audio at one time. Kind of like walkie-talkie. People can choose to view another person's webcam if that other person enabled that feature.
I have some more comments. Your video "I make the spring come," showed serious video graphic skills. And your video about nudism was so cute. And it had a story line. It got a million hits. "Spring Come," did not yet. Here's something to consider. Although the nudist video was so good, and you were so cute in it, the word 'nudist' helped propel it to the status that it is in. In new videos you should find a name that will associate your video with something famous. That will get attention to it.

You should really do it on skype. It is wonderful, you can video chat plus you can chat in a little box so it's great and free, and you can find it by just typing in 'skype" in the google search bar!
the video quality for blogtv looks a bit bad. i don't know, it's just the first impression i have after checking the site. skype is good i think. but it all depends on your web camera too. but i think that you probably can only have a limited number of conversations with any of these because of the high amount of data being transferred.
Other than that, you can get webcammax or manycam as a software for effects and some fun cam-moments to play around. But that is not essential. You can also start with just a webcam alone.

She wants live in person 'two-way' conversation. I don't know if BlotTV is two-way. Skype is the only thing that occurs to me, but there are others. And people would have to send personal information which everyone would see. So, the only way I know this could be done is for Lucymisser to Join FaceBook, and/or Twitter maybe. Then two could chat by mail, then exchange information. And do be careful sweetie. Oh, now you are mentioning Facebook. Just go to the FaceBook page and sign up for account.

I know it's already been suggested but most Youtubers have used BlogTV for when they wanna do video chatting shows.
One thing that you'll definitely want in the BlogTV show, though, is one or more people that'll help police the show. These people are call 'Operators' or 'ops' for short because the internet is full of haters, creepers & weirdo's and you'll want good people that can help kick these people out and keep the video chat flowing smoothly.
Live stream can also be used for Live video chats. But you need a Webcam, a microphone( to hear your voice. Although Skype can also be used so you can hear other users, just know they'll also be heard too on the stream. Although word of note, i have no clear idea how complex it is to operate it, as I've had minor experience with it myself... but if you need help, i will not be afraid to try and find what you need to do.

I am not very familiar on how to use it, but I know that people would be able to come see your video streaming live without signing up. Also, people who have an account on this website could talk to you in a chat window at the side of your video, so your viewers could talk to you. I'll take a look around and see if I can find some instructions on it for you. But, you should look into it! Glad to see you are back on YouTube! :)

Sadly i don't think "Many-to-Many" video chat is possible yet. Maybe "One-to-Many" but who knows. If you don't quite understand what i said, i would like to explain.
I use both Blogtv.com and Ustream for doing video chats. Both are pretty easy to use. You just have to be prepared to have some rude people show up and make comments. If you have some people you trust to be your moderators or Ops, they can help keep the chat free of rude people. Video chats are a great way to make contact with your viewers.
That's really nice of you. the thing is if you do this you may get a lot of people in on the live chat (or whatever it's called). Many will be fans, some might be obnoxious and gross lol... I guess I just wish you well with the project.

there was a project i saw a few years ago where a guy posted a question on his blog and a cell number while keeping the phone off. he asked people to call the number and answer his question. In the end, he made a video of the answers to the question to time-lapse clips. You could try doing something like that. I'll find a link for the project and reply it.
You have to be careful becuse there are lots of weird people out there! I think the best way you can talk to many people at once is on BlogTV. I used that for a while and it was a good because while you broadcast, people can talk to you in the chat box. You can also have moderators so freaky people don't annoy you and stuff :)
Also you can invite a person to co-host with their video camera as well but it can only be for 2 people. but lots of people can watch and talk to you in the chat. It's a fun and easy and all you need is a camera and sign up, add your show details and start whenever you feel like it :) People can also get notified by email if you start a show so they can watch you. I know most people use ustream. never used it myself but basically you can set up a time and you can broadcast yourself, where people get to see you on video and they can type in questions or comments on a chat box. you can respond to them by either chat or video. check it out. its ustream.tv you can also try using MSN group chat, but if you did a video chat i think it would be easier for you to answer questions more clearly as in-text conversations can get very long and hard to answer

If you really want to have face to face conversations and you really want to know your audience well, I suggest using Stickam.com I have heard of Justin.tv and blog.tv but as far as I know, you can't have multiple webcams at one time. With stickam, you can see up to 5 or 6 of your audience on cam at one time. I think it would be most suitable for what you have in mind.

Okay, to start off first, use blogtv. w w w . b lo g t v . co m (without spaces) You can video chat/talk with a lot of people at the same time (you talking in the video and people typing responses in a chatroom) It's way less creepy than one-on-one chatting like skype (very limiting)

@Lucymisser you can go to Skype.com and create an account from there once the program loads, you can add whom you wish to add via email address, full name or skype name, and can have a live chat that way, there is also a program a friend of mine uses when shes overseas oovoo, pretty much the same as skype :) hope this helps
I suggest dipping your toe in the water of web cam chat with those you trust via Skype before you go into anything else. The world of "cam chatting" can be a lil scary. Though you do have lovely fans and friends here =)

You idea seems interesting, but I doubt it will work, and even if it does, you might regret it when you meet all the wackos out there. Facebook page would be nice though. My vote if you are determined to do a live chat is also for blog.tv. I hope you get a twitter account too. It is "interactive" without a lot of effort and doesn't have time limitations, since I suspect a lot of your fans aren't in japan, the time difference is a big problem.
As others have suggested already, you should get a BlogTV account. That is what most of the famous people on youtube use. In addition to you being on camera, you can add a co-host, who appears in a small box in the lower-right of the video from your camera. This way you can have someone there with you that you know, and can help you if you need it. I very much look forward to seeing you no matter which site you choose! <3

Skype - great for chatting with a single person. I use it all the time to talk to my host family in Japan from my home in New York.
Try Justintv if you want to live broadcast your stuff to many people for free. You can even broadcast from your phone.
There are so many other ways too. But I agree, you cant really have a conversation on YouTube, it's just not built for that type of exchange.

I think 1-to-1 might take up a lot of your time. Do you have that much time? Group chat might be more suitable for you, as you have so many fans. :) It's also safer, and more fun. :D Just my two cents.

I use Skype for video chat, just dont do it much myself really, only with people I know, or bother to get to know me.. before I videochat with them, but thats just me, my skype account is the same as my youtube account name anyway so, if ya want you could add me I suppose.

Ok, so I was thinking, you don't want to make bad video. And your 'naturist' video was so good. What made it so good? Mostly, it had a theme. Then you got people's attention by making them wonder what comes next. In the mean time you filled the time with 'you'. You were listening to the headphones and making cute movement, which made people wonder what you were thinking as things went forward. You broke in to introduce potato chips. Everyone wanted to know how it ended. I will think some more.

"One at a time" (one-to-one live) is possible.
for "one-to-many", you should stick with youtube.

And people would have to send personal information which everyone would see. So, the only way I know this could be done is for Lucymisser to Join FaceBook, and/or Twitter maybe. I know it's already been suggested but most Youtubers have used BlogTV for when they wanna do video chatting shows.
One thing that you'll definitely want in the BlogTV show, though, is one or more people that'll help police the show. These people are call 'Operators' or 'ops' for short because the internet is full of haters, creepers & weirdo's and you'll want good people that can help kick these people out and keep the video chat flowing smoothly.

Live stream can also be used for Live video chats. But you need a Webcam, a microphone( to hear your voice. Although Skype can also be used so you can hear other users, just know they'll also be heard too on the stream. Although word of note, i have no clear idea how complex it is to operate it, as I've had minor experience with it myself... but if you need help, i will not be afraid to try and find what you need to do.

I know a very popular website for doing live video chats is BlogTV. I am not very familiar on how to use it, but I know that people would be able to come see your video streaming live without signing up. Also, people who have an account on this website could talk to you in a chat window at the side of your video, so your viewers could talk to you. I'll take a look around and see if I can find some instructions on it for you. But, you should look into it! Glad to see you are back on YouTube! :)

I use both Blogtv.com and Ustream for doing video chats. Both are pretty easy to use. You just have to be prepared to have some rude people show up and make comments. If you have some people you trust to be your moderators or Ops, they can help keep the chat free of rude people. Video chats are a great way to make contact with your viewers.

1) Sign up for a facebook account
2) Sign up for a twitter account
3) Use "Connect Accounts" here on YouTube. By doing that your friends on facebook, and your followers on twitter can be informed of your new videos without having to check youtube.
I have both blogtv and ustream accounts, and I can honestly say that I prefer blogtv. I'm not familiar with stickam.

You seem so cute and concerned about the one sided nature of youtube. That really is adorable. I would say that you should get Skype and you can chat with people easily using that. Although I am not sure that it allows you to have a big conversation with many people like a video conference. I have never tried that before. For the person who said u need to be careful... who cares if ppl are wierd. You just block them if you don't like them. Not a big deal.

there was a project i saw a few years ago where a guy posted a question on his blog and a cell number while keeping the phone off. he asked people to call the number and answer his question. In the end, he made a video of the answers to the question to time-lapse clips. You could try doing something like that. I'll find a link for the project and reply it.

You have to be careful becuse there are lots of weird people out there! I think the best way you can talk to many people at once is on BlogTV. I used that for a while and it was a good because while you broadcast, people can talk to you in the chat box. You can also have moderators so freaky people don't annoy you and stuff :)

Also you can invite a person to co-host with their video camera as well but it can only be for 2 people. but lots of people can watch and talk to you in the chat. It's a fun and easy and all you need is a camera and sign up, add your show details and start whenever you feel like it :) People can also get notified by email if you start a show so they can watch you. If you want to try it then I wouldn't mind helping you out ^__^ ~

There is of course Ustream, but only you as the user can have a camera on and the watchers can only write stuff in a chatbox i do belive, so thats not good if you want to chat "face to face".
and then there is Tinychat. there you can create a room and have people join in, all can have cams on and just talk.

You can create a ToxBox, if you google it you'll know what i mean, you can create an account and host these chats with many people, up to 10 people ore more i suppose chatting on webcam!

I know most people use ustream. never used it myself but basically you can set up a time and you can broadcast yourself, where people get to see you on video and they can type in questions or comments on a chat box. you can respond to them by either chat or video. check it out. its ustream.tv you can also try using MSN group chat, but if you did a video chat i think it would be easier for you to answer questions more clearly as in-text conversations can get very long and hard to answer

Hi Yuki. There is something called TinyChat and I use it every weekend with friends. You can chat with many people on webcam at one time. I also use ustream, but mainly to broadcast gaming videos. If you really want to have face to face conversations and you really want to know your audience well, I suggest using Stickam.com I have heard of Justin.tv and blog.tv but as far as I know, you can't have multiple webcams at one time. With stickam, you can see up to 5 or 6 of your audience on cam at one time. I think it would be most suitable for what you have in mind.

Okay, to start off first, use blogtv. w w w . b lo g t v . co m (without spaces) You can video chat/talk with a lot of people at the same time (you talking in the video and people typing responses in a chatroom) It's way less creepy than one-on-one chatting like skype (very limiting)
Just post when you will be on and people can visit your blogtv page at that time.

@Lucymisser you can go to Skype.com and create an account from there once the program loads, you can add whom you wish to add via email address, full name or skype name, and can have a live chat that way, there is also a program a friend of mine uses when shes overseas oovoo, pretty much the same as skype :) hope this helps

You don't realize that you don't really have to do anything but simply be you for 3-8 minutes every once in a while, and that will keep many people happy. You idea seems interesting, but I doubt it will work, and even if it does, you might regret it when you meet all the wackos out there. Facebook page would be nice though. As others have suggested already, you should get a BlogTV account. That is what most of the famous people on youtube use. In addition to you being on camera, you can add a co-host, who appears in a small box in the lower-right of the video from your camera. This way you can have someone there with you that you know, and can help you if you need it. I very much look forward to seeing you no matter which site you choose! <3
