Nick Nolte needs a serious comeback after that movie. He is one of hollywoods true greats of the last 40-50 yrs, who unfortunately got shut out by tinsle-town. No one plays an everyman better tan Nick, with such gravitas and soulfulness. William H. Macy is a close second.

Warrior is truly a fine film. I had not even heard of it until I spotted it at a redbox and gave it a rent. It's stunningly good and very emotionally gripping. Do not miss this movie.

The reason Tom's pinky finger is like that is because he broke it while filming the fight [he also broke some ribs and some toes] while Joel tore his MCL [medial collateral ligament].

Talk about dedication! I'll be waiting to see where Tom's career goes from here. :)

@HungryTacoBoy ...Have you seen "Band of Brothers" epi 9 (2001) ? Look at his pinky when he's jumped out of bed and saluted to his superior. And in "Black Hawk Down (2002)" where he strokes his automatic weapon in the chopper, you can see the same pinky that we see now. :))

@Toughguystudios1 it's very likely he broke it and it didn't heal properly and he didn't go and get it reset when it healed. My father's finger is like that. It can't straighten all the way because it healed wrong and he didn't want to have it reset(which consists of re-breaking your finger to let it heal up proper the next time around)
