Wow, great ad...thanks for showing us there are politicians out there with a brain. Global warming is just a WARMING/COOLING CYCLE that occurs over thousands of year...we are in a heating cycle now. it has nil to do with human activity and pollution.

The solar system is actually going through a cooling phase. Only 6 bodies in the solar system are warming including Earth. The sun itself is cooling slightly. The 11 year activity cycle is not expected until 2012. By the way, the sun is insignificant because of the van allen radiation belt.

But the facts never get through when you spend all day listening to Rush, Hannity, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck,et al.

Global warming is caused by heat! yes heat! wow, i know hard to understand.. what causes heat? black pavement/rooftops absorb alot of heat from the sun, and we put it everywhere.. hmm.. also where do you think the heat produced by your engine in your car, 500+ degrees.. thats pretty hot.. so if everyone burns a whole bunch of stufff everywhere.. like we do as humans.. its going to cause global warming.. the real question is.. is it worth fixing? @livingproofof See, this is a possible explanation of global warming. Unlike the greenhouse effect caused by CO2, like I said maybe methane from our flatulence and the flatulence of our cattle. The sunlight is the bunsen burner of our planet we do have to watch it for hotspots, and the effect of it's changing temperature has on us. That sunlight is turned into sugar by plants, and oil by time. By igniting this oil you release all that energy at once. Still, it's a theory that needs flushing.

@gilbertn You sir need to do your research, most of the bodies that are backing global warming are not academic but political in nature. IPCC, Al Gore, Politicians, Governors, and not scientists. Both Al Gore and the IPCC have gone under attack due to the lies and misrepresentation of facts. Scientists who had worked for the IPCC, and who rejected the ideas of the panel had their names forced onto the report despite their protests. 31,000 scientists in America alone fight the belief.

@gilbertn Oh... and I can prove CO2 isn't the cause which is what most people foolishly champion against. I dunno about Methane which comes from livestock and rice fields, but if you think CO2 is somehow causing a Green House effect then you need to wake up and I have the facts to help you, (And you can talk to a professor to prove them.)

It is crazy to blame sunspots. The sunspot theory of GW is based on the coincidence of the little ice age and the Maunder Minimum & says when the Sun is inactive the Earth cools because the Sun emits less energy & at times of high activity the Earth warms because Sun emits more. Fine

They then claim that the Sun's activity has been high for the last 100 years which is true if you average over 100 years. Why not 50 years (the time of GW)? Because the Sun's actiity has dropped in that time
