There IS an indication of up/down. Look at the pair of numbers near the horizontal ceneterline on HUD. it's the pitch angle in degrees. Tells you if u'r poiinting up or down. :P

Uh, the sparkle trail isn't actually chaff in this part. It's just a sparkle trail. If you swivel the camera in 3rd person, you see blue sparkles coming out of your plane. It's just a special effect for the Electrosphere.

This electrospheric layer (from tens of kilometers above the surface of the Earth to the ionosphere) has a high electrical conductivity and is essentially at a constant electric potential.

Electrospheres come in many forms and are not limited to Earth.

i played this as a kid, just for the flying. it wasnt till ace combat 5 and 6 that i bought and cared about the story. which were pretty fun to follow along. but are 2 3 4 or any of them connected at all? like story wise?

5 is after 4, in 4 you fly an escort mission for a women thats your wing man in 5

5-6, dunno... different countries, look on the internet, theres an ace combat wiki.

I just tried it with the Eurofighter - it stalls at about 300 and goes up to 3000 - so I believe that's kph

@dmans7707 Change your video driver (i'm supposing you're playing this game in ePSXe emulator), I was having the same problem but I fixed it changing the driver, I used Pete's DX6 D3D driver 1.75, it comes with the default drivers i guess, it also has a special game fix "Use old texture filtering" that I enabled, and now It works to its best, hope this helps!!! Greetings!!! ^_^

Actually, this mission is very easy. Just only gun (I use Heavy MG) with accuracy you can shoot it down within 4 min or a little less or more.

this is good but why do you use the su37 flanker and the typhoon the whole game?

why not the su47 berkut, or any of the top clas planes like U1 4054 aurora or the x4 900 geopelia, which are all way better

I use the typhoon because I love it *dreamy eyes* ah. Makes the whole game much more fun then using the "good" planes.

And I use the su-37 just because I need something with more missiles to take on the last missions with.

You should look at your plane in 3rd person view for this mission. Your aircraft's engine also has that "chaff" like effect to it.

I believe the track is "Zero-Sum." There are several places to download the soundtrack on the net, but I don't think I'm able to link to them for you. Do a google search and you shouldn't have a problem.
