Claude, the more I look at this video, the more amazed I am at the quality of the material you upload to youtube. But I still keep thinking: where is that video you had of France Gall (with Hugues Auffray playing flute) singing her father's song, "A bientot nous deux"? It's the complete opposite of this "schlager" song, and it really brings out the depth (or breadth) of France Gall's talent. Please bring it back!

I guess this is from the DVD release of the German Song Contests 1968-1970. Those three shows were broadcast live, and recorded on 2 inch quad Ampex tape.

Those tapes still exist and they made DVD copies from them... those shows were state of the art TV at that time.

@Claudus1943 Nice colors in a time when nobody had color-TV......when they finally all had one nobody cared about those old stuff anymore.......Now we are all online and here they are, color clips from back then easily to watch and enjoy.....It just took only about 40 years :) This is how things work sometime. :)
