I had a mouse that was able to fly. It flew away. If anyone is thinking of getting one then they are much better with the non-flying type as they tend to stay around for much longer. Blue ones are best.

._. .. Hell, I knew more about rodents before I started watching this. Mice ACTUALLY generally live 1-2 years, considering they're already aged once you get them from the pet shop. Mice are more sociable than hamsters, and enjoy having a cagemate, but it's better if it's from the same litter (and the same gender.) She also didn't mention that mice do need a running wheel or some form of excersize. =/ Expert Village is not Expert. They are dumb.

i've had two pet mice before, both when i was little, and their so easy to care for and easy to love. I used habitrail and crittertrail cages, and I used a gerbil-sized exercise ball because they didn't move as much in the mouse-sized ones (guess they were cramped) The habitrail and crittertrail systems are great because they have interlocking tubes sized for hamsters, and these keep mice happy and busy when your away. Also, i never kept my mice together. The times I tried, they fought badly.

I have a Baby Royal Python, right now hes kept in a plastic contrainer with newspaper, a hide, a water bowl and a heatmat underneath. When he is alot bigger, he'll get a bigger tank with decor. Snakes however do not always require a lamp (UV), these are one of the most expensive things when keeping a snake.
