So, I have a problem and I am in major need of some help ASAP. I have recently come back to the dating scene. I traveled to WeHo and went clubbing with a gay male friend. I put on a cute outfit in an effort to attract the ladies. That night I got hit on by straight bouncers and received a compliments from gay guys. My problem: not a single girl approached me the entire night. I am marked with the "straight friend" title when I go to gay venues. How do I show that I am not?

Do you ever start laughing at things she says when talking to the potential lady-friend because youre so nervous and your auto pilot is stuck on laugh and your all like "how do I respond"? Its apparently cute as well ( and none the wiser). The slight smile and laugh... and you can take that one to the bank!
I hate going in gay bars/clubs and getting hit on by men assuming I'm straight because I'm very girly or men saying "I would never have guessed you're a lesbian!" Like it's a compliment. Also men assuming that because I'm feminine l'm not really gay or that "raised-eyebrow" look of doubt I get from "real" lesbian. Girls don't hit on me because they all think I'm straight or bi because I like heels and skirts. I'm not taken seriously. Being feminine doesn't make me less of a lesbian!
