It's funny how you try to define "real" and "fake" metal, but your username indicates being a Slipknot fan. Slipknot is probably the stupidest garbage ever. I may as well just say every band ever is "fake" metal, then say "real" metal is limited to Iron Maiden, the big 4, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin. C.O.B isnt really metal in my opinion, neither is a7x, Trivium is a bit ify but a more real metal band than Trivium and C.O.B could be something like Megadeth, Ozzy, METALlica ( put metal in caps in Metallica for a reason) Testament, Destruction, Kreator, Sodom stuff like that basically the "real" metal is the bands that started metal could throw Venom in there but those bands are still considered metal for a reason Dragonforce is conisered metal and they arent really so just voicing my opinion
