  • I bought 'The Unexpected Hanging: And Other Mathematical Diversions' And it was awesome. Braiding the strip of leather was really cool.

  • huh? I must be stupid cause I still don't get it. I looked at your site and the pictures helped, but where do you cut? And at what point do you cut around the band? More detail would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • oops. I meant to say "at what point do you cut around the circumference of the rubber band"?

  • Yes,it's me on Korean TV show.

Sorry,I don't look Martin Gardner special on tv.

    I'd like to see that.

If you like, please come on my site.

This site show you how to make.

  • I saw that Martin Gardner special on tv. But doesn't the band need a loop in it to begin with? The elastic you used didn't look like it had a loop. It just looked like a regular elastic.

  • i just saw one of your videos from the korean show, making the immpossible objects. Are you the guy that made the objects? you had the same shirt on!!!!!! you were on t.v????????

  • Is there a more detailed instuction of this, because I really want to do it, but the video is a little blury.

  • yeah but how do you do it with a rubber band?

  • This is like the Möbius Band. Make a strip of paper (like 15cm long) twist one end over, end then attach the ends. Now cut the strip as you do in this video, and you will have two rings of paper in eachother.

  • Thanks for looking my vid.

This is my original but it's idea was from Martin Gardner's book.

'The Unexpected Hanging: And Other Mathematical Diversions'

Chapter 'The Church of the Fourth Dimension'

In this story,Appearing a Knotted Rubber Band.

    I only realized this story.

  • too blure cant see what you are doing could you mabe make a better vid?

  • wow... i dont even get what you were doing?! what was the point of that??

  • Cooool
