Nice review. A good review coming from a Wipeout fan like you said. Although, the tracks does seem very skinny. Not enough room to move your vehicle around. From the gameplays I see, your always bumping along the walls. Is that a big problem? I might consider of getting this game when sony releases this for free in their welcome package. I don't have any racing games for the PS3 (But GTA4, but that doesn't count). So I might as well get this.

@MAT0R0 Well in WipeOut everyone bumps into the walls lol. So that's pretty much a norm especially during those tight races on those narrow racing tracks! It kind of make the whole high speed racing experience better and more intense. But yeah, this would be a great 1st racing game for your PS3! I heard that they were also going to include the downloadable pack: Fury as well! Which is probably one of the best downloadable packs of last year! Regardless, enjoy your new racing game buddy! :D

@MAT0R0 at first its somewhat hard to maneuverer your craft, with a little practice you will be able to avoid almost all walls. The handling is actually very smooth. Even after months of not playing it I can pick up the controller and hit few walls. I would recommend that you get this not just because its an awesome game but the giveaway comes with the Wipeout HD Fury expansion. If you like wipeout this will peak your interests. In my opinion it is the best one of the series. Hope this helped.

@MAT0R0 u do realize ther is a pilot assist that steers u away from wall right im not sure if that only cam in the fury add on tho cuz i bought it as a package in 2010

I don't think I can hold out any longer, and i'll just have to settle for the digital version..

the ps1 version was pretty mutch the same
