There is no such thing as a banned book in America. Unlike Nazi Germany or the former Soviet Union no one is actually prevented from writing,selling,buying or reading a book. What banning means in America is that they are aren't allowed in tax payer owned places like public libraries or schools. But,you can still get those books if you're willing to go to private places.

This is so stupid. Good books are not perfect with Barbies and fairies flying around, because real life isn`t perfect. There`s racism and language and, oh my God, of course people are having sex, isn`t that something normal? How else do you expect kids to learn right from wrong? Banned? Where... some schools and not others. I don't think pro homosexual or anti homosexual books should be forced on little kids like the Tango book. They are just little kids! If you want to see banning try to donate a book on intelligent design vs evolution such as the one by Phillip Johnson. They will throw you and the book out.

"and tango makes three" I searched online and it said this book was based on a true story at a zoo. People's imagination went to far with this true story and so it is banned.
