I remember listening to KMEL FM 106 "In the Mix" w/ Alexander Mahia back when I visited San Jose in summer 1988. Absolutely amazing, incredible DJ. One day I hope they come out with old recordings so I can play them again!!!!

the original KMEL, "Rockin the Bay" was the better format and station back in the 70's and 80's!

Anyone living in the Bay knows they don't play shit for local music you dumb fuck.
When they do its DJ mix hours, NO ARTIST SONG NAME OR RECOGNITION.. since the music is scratched in between 15 other tracks.
