  • 何で?

  • At about 4:10 this becomes too gawd-awful to endure.

The DS-10 definitely not made for live performances. >_>

  • There is a microphone on the DS, anyone know if you can record tracks?

  • Psyleid: "There is a microphone on the DS..."

You can't record audio ONTO the DS/cartridge, but the microphone does strike me as unused potential. If you mean outputting audio then yes; through the headphone jack into whatever, but of course it's not midi or anything.

  • I wonder if anyone has made homebrew software to record things through the microphone. That would be pretty cool.

  • nitrotracker!

  • you cant :(

  • Yes you can. You can record in Nitrotrack through the Mic, or you can use samples somehow by putting them on your flashcard. I only know how to record into the mic with Nitrotracker.

  • Any idea if you can change the beats per minute? Because all I've been hearing is faster beats per minute. I would think you could change it.

  • yeah you can change the tempo of course.

how come this sanodg guy never uses filter envelope resonance? ds10 does have resonance doesnt it?

  • Yes, the DS-10 can set a BPM from 40 to fast X) Listen the songs I published to get slow songs that actually sound good. (thats what everyone says atlest)

  • yes,u can practicly do ANYTHING with this little thing.

  • Yes you can change the bpm, but you can't record it into the tracker, you can only choose a bpm to start with and the song has it. But you can kind of change it in real time if you're performing.

  • the ds accepts audio data @ up to about 33kHz, 16bit (which is fine), but the output DAC is a bit poor. you kinda get an effective resolution of about 12bit, plus the noise levels are pretty bad. i'm hoping this is something nintendo improve if they ever put out an updated ds lite.

  • I actually think it gives it a certain charm of its own. I particularly like the dynamics of a really deep lowpass filter opening up, it almost sounds polyphonic at times.

From my experience with the thing, i wouldn't say the DS10 is really suited for organic, "clean" music. It's very fierce and angry. Which suits me admirably ;)

  • 24.7.08 out in japan

  • When is it out?

  • Looks very nice. But could sound less digital. It will be fun, but I dunno if it will work on dancefloor as showed. OR the DsJ didnt explored its powa!

    What's the DS samplerate / bitdepth? 44.1 / 16bits?

  • CooL :)

  • Suteki!
