Duff was originally a guitar and drumm player. he didn't pick up the bass untill he met Slash.

well I knew that Duff was drummer, but I didn't know that he also plays on a guitar. Well Axl isn't better singer than Steven, this is of course my opinion. But not only that, Steven is better on stage, than Axl. and Steven isn't dick. But I must agree with you about that Axl is dick. he is.

Duff played guitar on all the acoustic songs on GN'R Lies. and guitar & bass are really related, most (well almost all) guitarists know how to play bass and often the other way around too.

Axl's voice is more flexible then Steven's. Axl can be REALLY low and REALLY high and both sounds extreme whereas Steven is a high-pitch singer and only a high-pitch singer. Steven rules and is in my opinion the second best singer ever to be around but i like Axl's voice better so my vote goes to him.

did i say that Steven was a dick? if i did then i'm sorry, that is not what i think. i think he is a great guy and all. Axl is a cunt of a personality but he has the most extreme and extraorinary and dangerous voice i've ever heard.

but i disagree. Axl kinda lost his voice around 2000 and his voice was terrible for quite some time but his voice was unique on the 2006-2007 tour and his fuckin' awesome on Sebastian Bach's album 'Angel Down' (Axl sang on a few songs) and Chinese Democracy has some great vocal moments (the songs are too soft for my taste but it was still well sung)

but like you said yourself, it is of course a matter of opinion = )

you're right. at S. Bach album Axl sang great especially back in the saddle, this reminded me Axl from illusion times. and yeah that's tru that at 2000 his voice sucked. And you're also right about CHinese Democracy, there are couple of songs which were sang very cool. like: schakler's revenge or Rhian N Bedoins. And that's true that Axl's voice is better than in 2000. but not cool as in a past it's good that there are some people who can talk about it, without fighting:) I owe you a Beer man:)

Well, there really isn't one coz all the younger rock stars tend ta all sound similar, no body has a unique voice now who isnt nearing their 40's at least. Kinda sucks but that's the music industry of today- no room for individuality. :-(

Steven Tyler is a fucking badass. One of the few frontmen of rock that can still perform like he did in the 70s. Wish Aerosmith stopped the pop shit though and returned to the days of "No More No More" and "Sweet Emotion". It's not meant to be, I guess. Still, awesome performance!
