The video and, more importantly, the message of the song, struck a chord. I think it's been 4 months since she left me, but the year we spent with each other felt very real. Maybe it was a big lie on her part.

The bottom line is that she left me for someone else. She cheated on me.

And of course, I threw everything I had from her. Pictures. Clothes. DVDs and CDs. Even my watch. I gave them all to charity.

I'm glad this song wasn't playing when I did so. I would have cried like a baby. :')
