Once Bootmii is installed, the controller doesn't work to navigate it: you press the POWER button on the Wii to change between the options and you press RESET button to choose that option.

With the latest version there is no file called 'Hackmii_installer_beta1' only a 'boot.elf' and renaming this to 'boot.dol' makes no difference, my homebrew channel does not see it at all? What does the slow people like me have to do now?

Is it necessary to "prepare sd card at 1:52 of the video. Cause I didn't know but I installed and made a backup of my wii with boot2 and ios. But do I have to prepare sd card, or is it not necessary.

Nah, when you prepare your sd card, it will make a map on your SD card. I dont think its really necessary..

Bootmii have nothing to do with Free games and stuff. Its a program wich helps your wii to unbrick when its bricked.

Btw, you need a SD card with the follow maps and files: SD/root -> Apps -> Hackmii_installer_beta1*->boot­.dol

* = Or higher

No, I do not think the problem is the SD card, because I was able to install bootmii perfectly on my other Wii, which is an even newer version than my 1st Wii. Maybe could it be that bootmii just won't install on certian wii versions? Because the wii it installed on had 4.0U, wheras the wii it won't install on has 3.3U. So, maybe I upgrade to 4.0U?

Please help! When I try to install bootmii (prepare sd card, install as boot2, and install as IOS) they all don't work! If I choose any of these, it always gives me this:

So pretty much, it refuses to create the bootmii file on my sd card. Why could this be? No, I'm not using an off-brand sd card that is unsupported, it is a Sandisk 2.0 GB.

I updated the Wii to official 4.2E and installed he homebrew channel and was able to get the boot menu and made a backup of the NAND. I can only play games from the USB, If I burn games to DVD they dont work. I thnk i may have one of the new drives that dont read DVD R

but any way, I figured I had one of the new wiis that have the DVD drives that do not read DVD-+R DVDs so I upgraded to 4.2E installed homebrew channel and was able to make a NAND backup and I installed the USB Loader channel and all games worked fine from the USB.

After modding the Wii I could not believe how hard it was to find a good game for the Wii, theyr all shitty ass kiddy games except for mad world, so sold it on ebay a week later and now its in Portugal =)

Als je Bootmii download, dan maak je op je sd kaart een mapje aan genaamt apps. Daar zet je dan het gedownloade bestand in.

Als je bootmii download en uitpakt en er komt dan een map apps, dan zet je die in de root van je SD kaart.

Oke, I think I understand your problem. When you copied the NAND to your SD card, Bootmii needs to format your SD card. Do you set all the maps back on the SD card?

Ive copied the nand and one thing called BOOTEX to my computer.

And the nand and the BOOTEX are still in my sd card.

I have an apps folder on my sd card where i have the bootmii folder.
