You are right. I am looking for the the taffy tasting popcorn ball from when I was a kid. I just would not use marshmallows to make them. If you like that flavor combo, enjoy. While that recipe looks difficult it isnt really. Thanks for the comment.

I just made some and my recommendation is to use more popcorn than they do, I did and it is not so super sweet. If you look at the last frames that show the finished product it looks to be covered in a suger shield..

I love to add peanuts to mine as well. I also make two batches. The first batch gets green food coloring added to the syrup mixture before mixing, the second batch gets red. It's a Christmas tradition all the kids love!
