Mike, this is a great video. I was searching for something to link on my Facebook page for Memorial Day. I love the bagpipes playing Amazing Grace. It's so haunting, and moving. Unfortunately, you lost me when it started with a commercial. So, suffice it to say, that it's a great vid, but somethings shouldn't be commercialized.

Thank you. So many people confuse Memorial Day with Veterans day. It is not about those who are serving now although we do support them and hope they come home safely. It is about the ones who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
I will always salute the dead soldiers who gave up their time, talents, and there life for our countries freedom. it makes me sad, and a bit mad, that there are those in our country right now, that are trying to take that freedom from us, slowly but surely. Growing up on an airforce base, I always saw it at the airshows. It wasn't until I was around 8 or 9 years old, that my dad explained the symbolism of the plane that breaks off and flies towards the sky, and the planes that continue to fly on.
He said "the plane that flies into the clouds represents the parents and siblings who went to war, and didn't come back...."
It's still such an emotional thing to see in person
