  • I always wonder what the woman says to Jareth around 3:48....

  • I think I saw Jack Sparrow. Like if you did too. He was like one of the dancers...........

  • To celebrate the genius of David Bowie on his 65th b'day - I shall devote my afternoon to watching Bowie classics....starting with this classic, then Absolute Beginnners, followed by Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence....Happy Birthday Sir David! x

  • i'm wondering how she could have kept a straight face.

  • is sarah marion for requiem for a dream?! she is!! :O omg.. weird... o.o

  • love it

  • How does he spin those balls,my sister has a crush on David Bowie, her fav song is Life On Mars!

  • @shayLeeraye it took them ages but they got a guy who could do it , he would hide behind david and try and spin the balls it took them so long to get it right! look at the making of documentary on the collectors edition dvd! so good, best film ever. jareth is so sexy!!!

  • @shayLeeraye it's someone else's hand spinning the bubble thingies.

  • God how I loved this movie...!!! I remember I was 12 year old when I watched it for the first time and made me feel astonished.its perfect as simple as that.Everything, the music, the scenaries, the caracthers, the artists...what a pity that they do not make movies like this anymore...now everything are special effects and nonesense stories( except, exceptions of course) that has nothing to do against masterpieces like this...Sarah,Jareth,hogard,Ludo,Sir didimus, thank you for being so magic.

  • Just another reason y I will take a peach from a strange person. Just to meet him at that party ^-^

  • tumbs up girls who LOVED....JAPREDDDDDDD

  • She looks like Brooke Shields when she was younger. It's like directors cast actresses that look alike in a period of time (80s). Now, keira knightley and natalie portman are the favorites...and they look like sisters.

  • Whenever I hear Masquerade from Phantom of the Opera, I think of this scene. Jareth is very Phantom-esque

  • Hes fricken gorgeous i mean who wouldnt want to be in sarahs place ! david bowie is my hero and i would do anything to be in her place i mean who would want to be pressed up against bowie while dancing !!!!! *sigh* i want the goblin king <3

  • stuff her dress i want his suit and im a girl!!!

  • i just wish thay still made movies and music like this this its a crying shame the 80s are gone just to bad

  • David Bowie is so hot, so sexy, OMG.

  • when he smiles at 3:42 i feel like im gonna die <3

  • can someone explain this movie to me? im soo tripped.

  • THE MASKED WOMAN @ 3:48 TRIED TO WARN THE GOBLIN KING THAT SARAH WILL DESTROY YOU....

  • I soo want him

  • @grahamtaylore19 oh yeah, i know

  • Awww Jareth's face when Sarah runs away from him... :'(

  • why cant all peaches make ya feel like that lol ud eat more than 5 a day llf

  • @helenesasha lmao

  • que romantico y efimero.... i love it

  • David Bowie!!!!! -3 who cares about baby brother?? Ditch him for David Bowie!!!

  • If it's David Bowie, then yes

  • Years ago I had this film on tape and watched it over and over, dreaming about being Jareth in this scene, mesmerising Sarah. Among all the frolicking, she falls deeply for him (who wouldn't). Jim Henson proved his wonderful imagination in envisioning this scene. Bowie's passionate, tender song makes the scene romantically overflow.

  • The first time I saw this the part where they zoom into Bowie's face and he removes his mask made my heart stop beating momentarily. He's breathtaking!

  • i wish someone felt that way about me

  • I would so ditch my brother and stay in his arms forever! ♥ David Bowie x

  • Aqui

  • The masks are so breathtaking in this scene <3 I can still remember the first time I ever saw this film, so long ago but seems like yesterday ^_^

  • I have always thought that he is saying ''what a beautiful view as the world falls down'', not ''but I'll be there for you'' etc... xD It sounds better with '' what a beautiful view ''. xP xD

  • Seriously I have looked from video to video and the music was apparently no joke. At this scene I would thought that the music is going to be a vocal-less/singer-less dreamy piece of music but this? It's not that it's bad but it can be improved I guess. But since it's a long ago movie I have no complaints as it may be the trend that time. And BOY! They say hairstyles of the past are out of style! Nu-uh!! WOW!

Just change the music and play it with Dance Magic and I'm the happiest bloke ever.

  • i wish i could sing like that to my girl lol, im only 18 but this movie never gets old, nor do any movies from the 80's

  • Was SO expecting Ezio to walk through the crowd :DD

  • Does anybody else find it kind of funny that he's wearing more makeup then her?

  • His smile at minute 3:14 is just to die for!!!

  • @yantivid Seriously?! LOL. Talk about getting into character.

  • I saw the making and i remember david bowie saying 'she's still 14' and he had that 'damn.. too bad'...look on his face...lol

  • *swoons* OK I've never been a fan of eighties fashion but I love her dress. Aside from the ugly masks and mocking personalities of everyone else at that party, I would love to have been there. Dancing with David..... hmhmhmhm. She's crazy for not saying "I'll stay but Toby goes home." And for not taking full advantage of his offer to be her slave.

  • not that the rest of her isn't, but, especially in this scene, Jennifer's hair is absolutely GORGEOUS

  • Legendary scene!

  • Amo este filme, é um dos meus favoritos.

  • How old are they? Her 16 and him 30?

  • @NiteHuntress49 In this movies she's supposed to be 16 and he's in his mid-thirties but Jennifer was 15 years old and Bowie was 42 years old at the time the movie was filmed.

  • Correction: He was 38/39 years old

  • @rbelton Well, the Goblin King is kind of ageless, isn't he--he is a fey creature.

  • She is high off her ass.

  • @CrystalSnowtiger (sighing dreamily) i would just lunge forward for a kiss!!! ferget about the baby brother!! id say "ill be ur goblin queen!!"

  • I used to think that was his real hair ._.

  • @Kumajirou13 i thought that too!!!

  • I want the fruit...and the guy... he looks so good in blue...and I'm not into puffy dresses but I WANT THAT DRESS! and the jewels..wonder if it would look almost as good on me as it does on sarah. *sighs dreamily* Too bad she had to rescue her brother....because I don't think she would have wanted to get out of those arms if she didn't have to rescue him. David/Jareth is such a good dancer

  • He was so in love with Sara. Also I would love to see this turned into a Broadway play, with the original music.

  • He was so in love with Sara.

  • Thax David Bowie for making me believe in love

  • i thought love was a joke untell i wached this video now my hart is open and not closed to every thing it mad me believe in love Thax david bowie

  • ONE BITE?! man, i need me some of whatever that is

  • thumbs up for yellow teeth!

  • @PeaceLovePoi sorry but you are wrong. I watched the "making of" Labryinth back in the 80's when this movie was new. ALL of the juggling scenes were performed my Michael Moschen.

  • @PeaceLovePoi watch the bonus features...

  • This is my favorite part of the whole movie. He looked so awesome on this scene and I loved this song the most. I loved him so much in this movie.

  • FUSHIGI!!!!! 1:06

  • I want to do my hair like that

  • A mi hermanita le encanta esta parte.

    David Bowie es taaan atractivooo

  • omg i am so in love with david bowie!!! AAAWWWWWWW!

  • @deathpearl360 me too!! he's so hoot

  • At 1:02, that's not David Bowie's hand moving the crystal balls. Most of the scenes with the crystal balls had to be done with a professional magician who specialized in juggling crystal balls, hidden behind David Bowie with only his hand in the shot. Juggling crystal balls, is a VERY difficult skill to master.

  • @ac130pilot she was thinking to herself, "is it in there"?

  • i love her wideeyed sad and wonderous stare.....

i once did a girl who looks EXACTLY like her, and she had that whole expression while we were banging it was the sexiest thing ever.

  • belo filme, ótima trilha e uma atriz maravilhosa !
