Listen hun, I'm sure if Paul meant what you think he meant, he would've surely mentioned that for the context of these scriptures, but he doesn't. Why can't christians just read the word as it is?!
The Apostle Paul did not teach that women should not preach. Read the bible in context, he was talking strictly to the women at the church at Corinth, who had a reputation from being far from godly, upright, and teaching the bible correctly.
With all your getting get understand. A woman has always been allowed, and is STILL allowed to preach, prophesy, and bless God's people with her ministry gifts.
And 1 Timothy 2:12, "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent." ? I guess he was talking directly to Ephesian church and possibly the other churches in the province of Asia, or mabey since this is not the first time he has made this kind of comment and certainly not the last, he means this for you as well as the women in the church today who decided to ignore Paul and go against the word. Please people,don't get mad at me! this is the Bible after all
Put that woman in her place pastor! women should not teach, they are to be silent in the churches (1 Tim. 2:12); they are commanded to keep silence in the churches, they are not permitted to speak, it is a shame for them to speak in the churches (1 Cor. 14:34-35).
You know this thinking is off!! God can use anything and anyone and he did. And he does today, dont be upset by it just hear God and dont look at the person and we will see some great changes in you life from God. Dont listen whether it be man or woman, if they are not speaking the true things of God.
