I needed to get sleep 6 hours early and took a couple sleep meds. The storm woke me up in the middle of the night so I crawled out of bed, looked at it, and went back to sleep. Today I woke up thinking that I'd had an intense hallucination since thunderstorms are so rare around here.. I'm never taking thunderstorms again!
We're in Albany, it woke us up at about 3am, the lightning was directly over our house. There wasn't any distinguishable delay in the between the lightning and the thunder, it was crazy. However the emergency warning didn't come over until the worst of the storm had past. Best lighting/thunderstorm I've ever seen.
i'm soooo mad i missd it!!! i don't even know how i slept through it was apperanlty right over my house! ggahhh i have been waiting for a storm in salem all summer! :(

My dogs did fine considering they are Chihuahuas. However I did not miss it. Got a few minutes of lighting bolts. Which blew my mind! :D
