wu tang more so than any other modern hip hop group has made clear the horrific violence thats exists outside of the "suburbs"in which most consumers exist, this is a good thing. i grew up dirt poor ,and found representaion of intelegence more important than socioecomonic standing in hip hop. very empowering to any poor person. wu tang is responsible of gun talk, but always with negative consequence in the long run. the theme of every album. and by the way, i love the roots and support hip hop.
