Ls7 is a rarity though usually people go ls1 or ls2 cause its a lot cheaper, some are supercharged, some turboed, and rich boys TT it. Others use 1jz, 2jz, vh45, 1uz, some race-build the ka24, some go sr20, some rb20/25/26/even rb30, and also the vg30 and vq35 engines. Some people even put lt1's into it. An engine is an engine, as long as its power it shouldn't matter. I've seen a 3 rotor 240sx..

I doubt that Z only had "420ish" to the wheels. Gallardo would have pulled on it if that were the case and if they kept going, the Gallardo's top speed would eventually prevail. But I still really love the 350Z platform, although they dont seem to make that much. Both nice cars, but Im not sold on the power of that Z, i bet its a lot higher.

An actual track? There is nothing to suggest a Z wouldn't do well, but also Lambo is known for track times not daily driving, so that aspect has to be taken into account in favor of the Z. Nissan interior quality is nothing to laugh at either and status+looks=arbitrary so to me it still doesn't justify150k
