it's a total rip-off riff, so as for you reckoningjudge... are the complete Idiot. You've gotta be one hell of a living in grammy's basement tool-bag not to hear the resemblance.
Hey guys, All Shall Perish called, they want the intro riff of Gagged, Bound, Shelved & Forgotten back! So did Born of Osiris, they want the intro riff of Open Arms to Damnation back!
Born of Osiris is terrible (musically) , sure they have a few cool guitar riffs and definitely have talent, but the instrumentals are all a wreck. it's like the band members are trying to out do each other in every song, and the vocals are constantly over lapping it confusing and honestly just ridiculous. BTA has a way better mix and more dynamic screamer, so what if the beginning of this and Boo's open arms of damnation sound similar it happens don't get your shorts in a knot
So what if it's a very similar riff to another song? That's been happening for years. Black Sabbath riffs has been copied and modified by other metal bands since metal started.
@seanyboy212 black Sabbath is actually considered heavy metal, back in the late sixties they didn't know what to label them, later on in the 70's it was labeled as heavy metal, they are also considered to have some doom metal elements in them, but the band trouble incorporated and pioneered doom metal in the 80's
Ever think that it might not be them trying to steal a part from Born of Osiris, but rather paying homage to them and it just being stuck in as a little "easter egg"?
Especially seeing as it's not a big part of the song and is only used as an introduction to the song.
I'm sure it was just them referencing one of their favorite bands and inspirations.
So the intro to this song sounds like 10 seconds of another bands song. Unless you're a musician, you probably don't realize how easy this is to do. Nevertheless, the intro is the worst part of this song, so if Born of Osiris wants it back , I think they can have it.
COMPLETE rip off of Born of Osiris, bullSHIT! Fucking unoriginal christians need to get their OWN thoughts and ideas istead of searching for their lame ass identity in all these forms of art and turning them to shit like everything else they get their weak hands on.
i like the band don't get me wrong, but that is a straight up riff knicked from boo
