@MegaHarvickFan29 What chances HAS he gotten with good equipment? He was with Yates for their final days, drove for TRG and then Front Row Motorsports for Christ's sake. And he's pulled off a few miracles with Front Row's gear which I'm pretty sure is stolen off of cars in Taco Bell parking lots. I think he would be decent with good equipment, but I dont think he's gotten it yet.
I think they thought David would be another Jimmie Johnson, win a Busch race and go straight to cup where he wins 4 straight championships with a career LOWEST 5th in points finish since his rookie year :P

But he had a good point, nascar is too quick to promote people into cup just because of a qood start in busch, or more because of their last name.
